Sunny, summer days are finally here! After a cold and rainy May, my girls and I are ready to catch some rays. That means it's time for my favorite accessory: sunglasses B )
Ro Sham Bo Baby is a family owned and operated business out of San Diego, California. The company focuses on providing fashionable, and high quality sunglasses for babies and children. They believe, "Little people deserve big people shades". The Italian made shades block 100% of uva/b/c rays, They are made of flexible, durable plastic and are so light that they can float!

She was able to "twist, bend, stretch, chew", just as the company claims. I spent some time with them too, and discovered that it's impossible to get pinched by the hinges they use. This is always my concern with sunglasses since I know from experience how painful it can be. The design is smart and chic.

Too cool for school
Autism is a cause which is of central importance to their company. A portion of all proceeds is donated to the amazing charities they work with; Autism Research Institute and Surfers Healing. Even their name pays tribute to the cause, the game of Ro Sham Bo, (or "Rock, Paper, Scissor") is a great tool for spectrum kids that need attention and calming.
I had never heard of Surfers Healing before this, but I love the amazing work they do! It's a non-profit group that brings autistic children and their families on a beach outing. They teach the children surfing to help boost confidence and give them a day of fun! It's about what spectrum kids CAN do, not what they can't.
