What do moms of babies want? Well, the list could be practically endless, but once those babies start teething, moms want to be able to offer them sweet relief. I remember when B was a baby and teething. We went through months of dealing with fevers, pain, gumming at mommy (ouch!), and sleepless nights spent walking the floors of the house, just trying to soothe the little guy. When babies are teething, parents often feel helpless when it comes to being able to offer them relief. Having great teethers available can make a world of difference.

Baby S obviously isn't teething yet, but teething isn't created equally & happens at different times depending on your baby. B started teething between 3 & 4 months. He was always chomping on something, so my dad lovingly nicknamed him 'Chomps.' We tried so many different teethers with him, but none of them seemed to help his poor gums, and most of them usually wound up on the floor, which was such a pain to have to keep clean.

I was excited to learn about Trendy Teethers. Baby S is just 5 weeks old, but I have been surprised by how quickly her first month flew by! I know it won't be long before I have a little teether on my hands, and I want to make sure we're well prepared for that.

I love this teether for many reasons. The design is so cute. We went with an elephant theme for S' nursery, so this fits right in! S loves elephants. The elephant has bumps to soothe little gums on the other side. It's connected to a string of colorful teething beads, and has a clip up at the top.

These bumps are great for offering teething relief.

The clip is awesome. It allows us to clip the elephant teether to S' clothing. It's important to note that the teether should only be clipped onto clothing, and not onto other things like belts, etc, which could cause a strangulation hazard. Always supervise your baby. No more dealing with teethers falling on the floor! This helps to keep the teether clean, and within baby's reach when she needs it or wants it. I love that it makes having a teething toy within reach that much more convenient.

I didn't know anything about teething necklaces when B was a baby. A lot of things have changed just in the past five years, since I last had a baby at home. I love both the teethers and necklaces from Trendy Teethers. I hope to build a collection of necklaces so I have lots to choose from when accessorizing in the near future. I know that I can feel safe using these with Baby S, and will be glad to have them on hand when she starts teething. They'll be such a lifesaver!
