It's allergy season, and boy are we feeling the nasty consequences of being a family of allergy sufferers. My husband and son have the worst of it- both of them suffering from outdoor allergies this time of the year. My outdoor allergies aren't as bad as theirs are- but I have indoor allergies to make up the difference. We've also noticed that Baby S has been stuffy and sneezey from all of the horrible pollen we've been dealing with, and she's just four weeks old. It can be difficult to deal with stuffy noses, and gross boogies when you have kids. B can finally wipe and blow his own nose, but the mucus sort of goes everywhere, and sometimes leaves a crusty trail behind. I know- so gross!
Thankfully, it's Boogie Wipes to the rescue! We're longtime fans of Boogie Wipes in our house. They have saved us lots of headaches and tears through the years with B, and allergy season is prime time for boogies! The first saline nose wipe was created in 2007 by two moms (the Boogie Moms®) who were frustrated with trying to put saline drops into their young children’s noses. They knew there had to be a better way to treat sinus problems caused by colds and other illnesses than drops and dry tissues. We have already used the Boogie Wipes with Baby S. She has had some stuck mucus in her tiny nose, and we've been unable to clear it any other way than with the Boogie Wipes. They are super gentle on her fresh, new baby skin, and they are a breeze to grab and use at a moment's notice. I keep Boogie Wipes on the changing table, and I also keep them in the diaper bag or in my purse. They are as essential as baby wipes!
S doesn't fuss when we wipe at her nose with the Boogie Wipes, which is awesome! I hate having to use an aspirator to get mucus out of her nose, and she hates it, too. Boogie Wipes are such a lifesaver for moms! We still use the Boogie Wipes with B, too. He doesn't like how the regular tissues feel, so when he's got a really stuffy or crusty nose, we go for the Boogie Wipes. They also keep him from picking his nose. It's gross, but with kids, it's a reality!

ReplyDeleteI love how gently they are on my little one's delicate skin. And hopefully the fruity flavors will make him not quite as upset at me for constantly wiping his nose. The convenience is also a huge plus!
