It's hard to believe that Easter is just about here! At our house, we have been so in 'baby mode' that Easter has totally snuck up on us. Holy Week (the week from Palm Sunday to Easter) is incredibly busy for our family. Our Easter tradition is a bit different from the norm. Hubby actually heads to Washington, D.C. to play brass at Ft. Myer Army Base, and B and I spend Easter with my mom and dad. Though our immediate family is apart on Easter Sunday, I always carry through the same traditions with B as my parents did with me and my sister when we were little. Part of the tradition, of course- was a new outfit for Easter.

I love the look of the shirt and bow tie with the blazer. It's a cute, preppy look that is perfect for B to wear to church on Easter Sunday. It's casual enough that he can wear the shirt and tie to our contemporary worship service, and then put the blazer on before we head to the more traditional service.

These are the matching pants that work with the blazer. I am bummed that B won't be able to wear them, but hopefully, we can share them with another little boy who can.

We were sent a super stylin' Boys Blazer and Pants Set in a size 7 for B. The set is in a chambray color, and is perfect for Easter! We were also sent a Boy's Button Down Shirt with Bow Tie. We love the blazer and pants, though I am a little bummed because the pants are a bit too small for B, in the largest size available. He's five, and the pants were a size 7, but they are a slim fit. The blazer and shirt fit well, and he'll be able to wear those with a nice pair of slacks from his closet. This is such a simple, classic, yet modern look for boys, and the bow tie coordinates perfectly with the girls plaid dress. If you're wanting to dress siblings alike for Easter, this is the way to go!
