As we make our preparations for Baby S' arrival, I am going through all of the things that we have purchased for her, and am getting them ready for use. From the clothes and shoes/accessories to the everyday essentials, I am organizing it all- one step at a time. We're a family on the go. We love to travel, and we're not afraid to go about doing what we need to do with a baby in tow (which is what we did as soon as B hit the one month mark). Though S won't have to go to daycare, she'll definitely have to get used to being in someone else's care, particularly when we gather for church functions several times a week.

It's been a long time since I packed a diaper bag, but I remember one thing that was very helpful was to have all of B's personal items labeled. I labeled everything from his shoes and jackets to his feeding items like bottles and bibs. I love personalized items, but my pocketbook doesn't like the expense that often accompanies them. Having a set of personalized labels for your children's belongings can be a lifesaver, and is budget friendly for busy families.

One of my favorite places to find adorable, functional labels for children's items is StickerKid. It all started in Switzerland during a friends gathering, a group of parents talking about the little ones and how they’re big time pros at losing and misplacing their clothes, toys, school supplies and shoes. They started giving ideas on how to stop this and help their kids keep their belongings as well as helping parents save money by not having to purchase the same items over and over. Labels became the main topic! But how to make them durable, cute and fun for the kids? The brainstorming began and then StickerKid was born and keeps growing and changing thanks to the many parents like you that give ideas on what you would like, they keep innovating and producing new items to help you keep your belongings in a fun, cute way!

I was excited to have been given the opportunity to try out StickerKid for myself. With a new baby on the way, new personalized labels were definitely needed. I was provided with a gift code to shop with on the StickerKid website, and was eager to see how far $35.00 could stretch.

I decided to go with a label value pack, because I wanted to get the most bang for my buck. When your kiddos are really tiny, and probably through their first 24 months of life, they have a lot of little belongings that go from place to place. The Dream Baby Value Pack was perfect for us, and offered a pack of 122 labels for $29.95.

It was easy to make my personalizations to the different sized labels. I was able to choose the background colors, the font, font size, plug in my text, and even add a cute little icon to some of the label sheets. I was provided with an instant preview of each label before the checkout and ordering process. After I was satisfied with the way my labels looked, I checked out, and then had my labels in hand about 3 days later! I have never received a personalized order this quickly before. I was so impressed by StickerKid's fast turnaround!

The instructions included in the guide are great- they tell you exactly how to apply your labels, as there are different kinds of labels included in the value pack. It also lets you know that the labels are all:

The value pack that I ordered included basic labels for belongings.

The thin stickers simply have S' name on them, and are a great size for bottles, and other small items that I want to have her name on them. Simply peel and stick these labels to the desired items. 

These are iron-on labels, and instructions for ironing them onto clothes are included with your StickerKid order.

The larger, round labels are well suited for items like shoes.

When there are a lot of kiddos in one place, it's easy for their items to become mixed up. We've had B come home from school with items from other kids in his class at school before, because their items weren't labeled. I always make sure to stick a label on his jackets, hats, mittens, etc- so that his teachers know that those items belong to B, and they come back home with him. We can't afford for his items to be misplaced, and the same will go for S.

Peel & stick the labels for belongings, and you're good to go.

I am already labeling S' little bottles and the like, because I know that these will travel with us when we're ready to venture out with her.
