One of my favorite family Christmas traditions, is to add a new Hallmark ornament to our tree each Christmas. When my hubby was growing up, he received one each year, and I started the same tradition with my son, so that when he is grown, he'll have ornaments to take with him when he leaves the nest. We'll also do the same for Baby S after she arrives.

I was excited for the opportunity to select and review a new Personalized Hallmark Ornament for the holiday season this year. There were so many beautiful ornaments to choose from on the Hallmark website. I really wanted to order a special Disney character to have personalized for B, but as luck would have it, they were out of stock online. I decided to go in a different direction, and have a new ornamnet personalized to include our soon-to-be newest family member, for 2016. I selected the adorable Sled with Rails Personalized Ornament.
My ornament arrived in a beautiful Hallmark Keepsake Box, ready for gifting!
I was able to personalize the text on the ornament to my liking. I added our family members' names, and added the year 2016. I wanted this ornament to be ready for us to use next Christmas, which will be S' first Christmas.
The ornament is made of wood and metal, in a shiny red color.
This ornament has a lovely shine to it, and is decorated with two snowflakes in white, with white print. The reads 'The Witt Family,' and includes all of our names, and the year. B couldn't wait to test it out, by pulling it across the table.
The sled is 'pulled' and hung by neutral twine.
Everyone in our family loves this ornament, and it's one that we will cherish, always!
I went ahead and hung the ornament on our tree. I am five months along with S, so it won't be too much longer before she's actually here- this makes it feel like she's here already. We're so excited! B loves seeing his name, and his baby sister's name on the ornament- it makes it seem all the more real, that she will soon be out of mommy's tummy, and living at home with us!

My Dad had an electric train going around the Christmas tree. He even had a little village incorporated in the Center!!Great Memories!! :)
