I have a lot of folks in my family to buy gifts for. We used to draw names, and therefore only have to buy one gift per person, but as it turned out, no one actually followed the rules of the game. We decided that we really loved to buy special gifts for each person in the family, so we went back to our usual gifting. I love to look for those special little gifts that I know each member of my family will love. I enjoy giving something I know they could use, or something I know they will appreciate.

One of the people I love shopping for the most, is my mother-in-law. She likes some really unique and interesting things, so finding the right gifts for her is always fun! My pendant necklace arrived in this beautiful jewelry box, bearing the Pretty Peacock logo.

I was blown away by how beautiful this necklace truly was, once I saw it in person.

I loved the necklace presentation- it was like opening up a beautiful, delicate gift. Behind the necklace sat a card which included the saying that was printed on the actual necklace, which read:

"Wear this pendant as a reminder that life is magical and splendid. You just need to embrace all that it is and all that it can be, and believe."

My mother-in-law loves all things magical and mystical, so I immediately thought of her when I saw this. What a gorgeous gift this would be!

The pendant is situated on a delicate silver chain, with tiny little silver balls.

The look and feel of this necklace is very different than most necklaces I have seen, and it's certainly unique from the other necklaces I own. I love the spiral pendant- it's so lovely, and has the inspirational saying stamped right onto it. This is a beutiful gift for those who believe in magic of any kind.

Something that I would love to do, is add birthstone charms to this necklace for my mother-in-law. I'd like to add one for each of her grandchildren, and gift one for her to add in April when Baby S is born. There's definitely something magical about little ones!
