Build & Imagine Toys Make Every Day Feel Like a "Day at the Beach"! #Review

Do you know the feeling you get when your kiddos sit down for nearly 2 hours and play nicely together? You know, the feeling, when they have a brand new toy that fosters creativity, imagination, and STEM learning and your kids sit and play with it? Together! For nearly TWO hours!?!

If you don't know that feeling, don't worry, I just experienced it myself for the first time not too long ago. Thankfully, it seems to be a recurring trend at Wigglesworth Manor!

It all started when we partnered up with Build & Imagine, a company founded by award winning toy designer and mother Laurie Peterson. Laurie started developing these awesome magnetic building toys after noticing the types of play she enjoyed as a child (involving building, creativity, and experimentation) were poorly represented in the "girls' section" of most toy stores. The company got it's jumpstart with a successful Kickstarter campaign, and will have 5 themed building sets available this fall.

Excited to Start Playing, But Let Mommy Take a Pic First!

We received the "Day at the Beach" building set for review, and since it's arrival the girls have been playing with it daily. Typically they build the scene together and play, but I have seen a few rare times where they are playing with it individually.

I love how much this single toy offers the girls. They are able to use their imagination and whimsy to create scenes and situations, they have the opportunity to play with something that can be used with a playmate (sibling) or individually, and best of all they become deeply involved in play; which we all know is one of the best ways for children to learn!

Now, I cannot guarantee that your children will be sitting down and playing nicely with each other for 2 hours, but I can tell you that even if it doesn't work out that way, Build & Imagine toys are an excellent addition (or replacement) to your child's ever-growing toy collection. It may even end up becoming a more popular choice than any video games and electronic devices they may currently prefer!

Want It? Buy It!

We received the "Day at the Beach" set, but there are currently 3 other great sets to choose from including Malia's Beach HouseMarine Rescue Center, and The Coastal Community Collection (Day at the Beach, Malia's Beach House, and Marine Rescue Center sets in one collection).
Drew really wants to be sure that I include the fact that the beach set is really awesome and she thinks  that kids who love building toys would really enjoy receiving any of these magnetic building toy sets as a gift!

Look for Build & Imagine StoryWalls play sets online and in stores. Thank you so much for this lovely review of my new building sets!!!!I love how you captured the essence with this line: "They are able to use their imagination and whimsy to create scenes and situations, they have the opportunity to play with something that can be used with a playmate (sibling) or individually, and best of all they become deeply involved in play; which we all know is one of the best ways for children to learn!
