Okay ladies, I'm going to make a confession here, and you can let me know if you're with me on this. I love going to the beach, but I really dislike having to put on a bathing suit. You may think that I should have nothing to complain about, but even I have areas of my body that I take issue with. This summer, I made it a goal to find swimsuits that not only fit and looked cute, but that had more of a modest look. I'm not used to the tankini style suits just yet, but I absolutely love the way they cover you up.

I fell in love with the cheery attitude the gals of Lime Ricki show forth, and I love their mission, as well. So many women feel uncomfortable in swimwear- it either doesn't fit the right way, or just doesn't flatter. We were made to move, so finding swimwear that you can be comfortable and move around in is a big deal!

I was lucky enough to team up with Lime Ricki, and they offered me a swimsuit of choice. They have so many bright, bold colors and striking patterns, that it took me longer than I expected to made a final decision for a suit to try out! I knew that I wanted to go with a tankini style, and there were certainly many beautiful ones to choose from. I enlisted the help of my husband to narrow down my top picks.

It can be incredibly scary to order a swimsuit online. I am a big fan of trying them on first, and normally recommend going up one size, just to be safe. There more I thought about it, the more I realized that not all swimsuits are created equally, and just because a size small from one company is snug, that doesn't mean that others will fit the same way. I used the size chart available on the Lime Ricki website to make my decision, and hoped for the best.

I chose the One Shoulder Navy Diamond Tankini Top with the Reversible Navy Diamond/Coneflower bottoms.

I am a huge fan of blue, and really like that this suit design pulls in both navy and light blue, against the white background.

The diamond design draws the eye vertically. The bottoms are reversible, so you can change up the look of the suit, any time you like!

I think it's a great idea to have a bunch of mix and match swimwear pieces that you love. It makes it so easy to change up the look of your swimsuit. With this particular suit, I can have two great looks. I could also pair the top or bottoms of the Lime Ricki suit with any of the other suits I already own, as long as the colors coordinate.

Though this is a one shoulder design, there is a removable and adjustable strap for the other shoulder. When I am at the beach with my four year old, I don't trust him not to do anything funny. He still loves to climb and pull on me, so I thought it best to wear the suit with the other shoulder strap attached, as well. No one wants to deal with a wardrobe malfunction on the beach! The suit also features a floating shelf bra with foam pads.

I felt comfy and confident in my Lime Ricki Swimwear.

This was my suit of choice to wear on the days we decided to break out the boccie ball set, play Frisbee, etc. I was able to be active with my son and husband, while looking and feeling great, in a flattering, feminine suit. I'd love to wear the tankini top without the shoulder strap, as well... maybe lounging by the pool. That sounds so nice, given how hot it's been lately! I not only loved the way this suit fit, but I loved that I was able to move freely in it. I expected it be be clingy and uncomfortable once it got wet from the ocean water, but it wasn't. It remained a bit loose-fitting and dried quickly, which was also a huge plus.
