Things are a Little Sweeter with Sweedie Kids {Review and Giveaway} #Sweediekids #giveaway

Accessories are always an important part of a good outfit, especially when they are on a little kid and have some purpose as well. Finding fun baby and toddler accessories, like bibs, can be quite hard, so many on the market have goofy sayings, are made of stiff material, or just generally aren't cute. My kids have never done well with bibs, even though both girls were huge droolers and really needed them.

Check out the drool discoloration on both shirts, it would have been great to have some cute bib-like accessory to go with the outfit.

Based in Austin, Texas, Sweedie Kids was created by two moms who grew up in Sweden. Sandra and Therese met in Texas and became close friends, with a lot in common-American husbands, two kids, a love for fashion and design, and the talent of being able to create and sew. When I found Sweedie Kids online, I was so jealous that I hadn't discovered them earlier, when the girls needed some adorable things to drool on. They offered bibs and burp clothes that were so stylish and unique, I could have had one to match everything the girls soaked daily. They didn't stop there though, because they also have hats, headbands, and big kid bibs.

I contacted them to see if they would be interested in working with MBP and quickly responded with a YES! I sent them a wish list of items that I felt would be best for our household and couldn't wait to see what would come.

We opened up our shipping package to find a sweet pink tissue paper wrapped gift. It was sealed with a Sweedie Kids logo sticker. #sweediekids

They both were so anxious to see what could be beneath the tissue paper and very carefully opened it up to find some adorable goodies.

The first item we came to is the Aztec Navy Knotted Headband.

C was so happy to put on the knotted headband. She is not a headband wearer, normally just takes them off immediately, but she left this on for awhile. It is incredibly soft and stretches to fit comfortably.

My true headband wearer is this girl. S rocks a headband most days of the week, so she was pumped about adding this Sweedie Kids Knotted Headband to her collection. We both loved the navy blue, Aztec print, so trendy right now. S loves how comfy this headband is, no pulling on her hair or being too tight on her head.

The Headbands are currently unavailable, but normally come in sizes 0-6 months, 6-12 months, and toddler. We chose the toddler size and it truly fits both girls (2) and (5). While you can't get them today, they are something you need to keep your eye out for sure, the compliments and comfiness will have you buying one in every design.

The second item we came to was the Southwest Pastels Bandanna Bib.

Again, my kids could have used these bibs over and over again when they were smaller to help their drooling habits. They are one size fits most, 0-36 months and retail for $12. C was really interested in this bib, and while we aren't using it for a bib, we are using it as more of a fashion accessory. It is really stylish and a perfect accessory

The Southwest print on this bib is so fun, the colors are just made to go together in this design, we love it. The bibs are made with a bandanna style with a drape in the front to catch wet mess, they also have a jersey knit front and soft sweatshirt fleece backing to help with extra absorption. The bibs also have 2 snap buttons, making it adjustable for newborns through toddlers. You also have the option to add an extra layer for more wetness protection for an additional charge of $1.50.

Our third item was the Organic Dala Horses Hat.

S could not stand waiting to get this hat on. She is a huge horse lover and also of polka dots, when I saw this hat I knew she would never take it off. S loves to wear tighter hats in the winter time, but also loves to wear them around the house for playing dress up too. This particular hat is great for anytime because it is so adorable. The hats retail for $17-$20 depending on whether or not it is organic or not. They also have sizes from newborn to 5+(which includes adults), we went with the 5+ size for S.

All of the Sweedie Kids hats are made of the same soft jersey knit that the rest of the products are made of. They choose organic, as an option, because of how well it keeps its shape and color. The hat is really soft and lightweight, S enjoys wearing it so much.

The quality on all of the Sweedie Kids items was amazing. The stitching, designs, and everything else in between were professional and would meet any one's high standards. I can't wait to keep wearing our Sweedie Kids products and hearing about how cool they are and spreading the word about where they came from.
