The weekend is here once again, and I'm getting a head start on my "Spring cleaning" by getting it done 6 full days before the start of Spring! Okay, chances are higher that I'm going to start cleaning a little bit, get frustrated, and push off the things that need to get done until later. Later will arrive, and it will bring with it an important event in which I will absolutely have to clean my house because we will be having guests. I will stress out, but clean the house to near perfection and vow never again to let the house get so out of control....then a few months later I am in the same predicament and wondering what the heck happened.

We are going to start the day by heading to the library to return the books we got last time and picking a few new ones. Later on today, Drew will be heading over to spend the night with Matt's parents. She requested some alone time with them, so Reese will be staying home. I am the oldest of 4 girls, so I understand the need to separate from your younger siblings, but I feel badly for Reese.
Tomorrow, we go to church! I'm happy because a local church (that I used to attend) will be joining us for services. We'll also be having fellowship after church, but I am debating on whether or not I should bake muffins to bring since we always end up with more food than we can use. I suppose I should make a phone call and make sure they are covered before I make my final decision.

I remember requesting special sleep-overs with my grandma when I was little, and asking if I could do that without my sister (we're 3 1/2 years apart). I still needed that special time with my Gram!
ReplyDeleteWe are hosting my parents for lunch tomorrow after church, so I am looking forward to that. Tonight, I am heading out for dinner and a show with my husband's grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and female cousins. We're going to see Cats at our local theatre, and I am in need serious of a girls night! :)
