Mobile Mommy Designs is an ETSY shop, that opened in July 2011. Janel, had always wanted to have an online shop to share her products and when she discovered Etsy, she knew her dream was possible. Janel purchased a heat press and new sewing machine to get started and her business has grown from there. With two children and some health issues, Janel has loved using Etsy as a way to provide for her family and do something she loves.
Mobile Mommy Designs creates personalized toys and pillows that are truly unique. Her personal designs come from inspiration from her children and loves to create custom orders for her clients. All of the products are handmade in New Jersey using kid friendly items, she also uses eco friendly products whenever possible. Mobile Mommy Designs has a 5 star rating on Etsy, with over 180 reviews.
Janel and I started working together back in late January. She contacted me and asked me to browse around her Etsy shop and see what caught my eye. Of course I was immediately drawn to a couple of different things, but one thing really kept grabbing my attention more than anything else, the Kids Art Plush.
The Kids Art Plush was perfect for letting S create something special, that Mobile Mommy Designs would then make in to a forever keepsake pillow. Janel had me email a picture of a drawing that S did to get started.
S created this, any guesses to what it is?
Janel took a wild guess and was absolutely correct--a ballerina!
I sent the email to Janel in mid February and she went straight to work. She was very easy to get a hold of and great with communication, she emailed me with any question or issue she had and also to give me updates. 5 days after I sent my picture, Janel was sending me an email that said she had finished the plush and would be sending it the next day. She also sent me a photo of the completed item for me to see before she sent it. It was so stinking cute, I knew S would just fall in love with it. Janel also sent USPS tracking information when she sent it.

Our Kids Art Plush measures about 10" tall by 6.5" wide. It is made of 100% cotton material and non allergenic stuffing. The photo was heat transferred with a professional grade heat press and transfer paper. The back of the plush has a perfect pink fabric that coordinates with the girly ballerina front.
We love, love, love this pillow. S has it placed on her bed and she talks about it all the time. She also likes to show it off to visitors. She feels extra special because it was something she helped create and will be able to keep for a long, long time. Great job Mobile Mommy Designs!
