Make Mealtimes Easier with the New Toddlerific Line by Zak Designs- #Review and #Giveaway

I've been blessed with two absolutely wonderful little girls, and I know how lucky I am, but like every mother, I have experienced my fair share of challenges. One of the biggest challenges is getting my two picky eaters to try new foods. Drew is getting better as she gets older, but since Reese is 2 years old, the battle wages on.

We've tried tons of different ways to get the girls to try new things, like blending veggies into spaghetti sauce or hiding pieces of ground beef in olives, but Reese is not easily duped. I was pretty much resigned to the fact that my 2 year old was only ever going to eat pasta, chicken nuggets, or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the rest of her life, until I saw a pretty great suggestion on Choose My Plate

"Also, to Keep the Different Foods Separate, Try Plates With Sections".

It had never occurred to me that Reese might be someone who would benefit from a plate with sections. Aside from taking apart her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I don't think I've ever seen her try to separate the food on her plate, I'd do almost anything to get her to try new foods, so I was absolutely open to the idea of trying a sectioned plate. Lucky enough for us, we were getting ready to partner with Zak Designs to review their new Toddlerific Line, and one of the items included in the line was a sectioned plate!

Reese's Reaction to the Toddlerific Line and of Course the Bubble Wrap!

We really appreciated the timing of this review opportunity because of the plate, but every product in the line is just wonderful. Each is specifically designed to meet the needs of toddlers, which makes mealtime easier for children and their parents. The fork and spoon set  are perfect for Reese's little hands to hold because of their thick grips and large arches, the wide-based bowl is designed to prevent accidental tips, the sip cup (there is also a spout cup available for younger ones) is a lot easier for Reese to hold and features double-wall insulation (keeps drinks cold without the condensation)  as well as Zak's patented Perfectflo™ valve (allows parents to adjust the flow rate as necessary, I really like this feature), and the sectioned plate has high sides and contours that match the utensils which made it easier for Reese to "catch" her food without dropping it on the table.

She Loves the Owl

I have to admit, I didn't entirely believe that the sectioned plate would have much of an impact on how Reese would eat, but I was pleasantly surprised. We made sure to use every section on the plate, and she made sure she ate something from every section on the plate! Even when she wasn't eating all of the food in a section, she was trying it, which is pretty huge for her.

Don't Be Fooled, There Was More Than Peanut Butter and Jelly on the Plate, She Just Ate it Before I Could Snap a Picture!

Reese received the Owl Chevron Toddlerific Set, but there is also an adorable Monkey design available. You can get a matching cup with each set, one with a spout (best for ages 9m+) and one without the spout (best for ages 18m+).

Want It? Buy It!

We are so pleased with the Toddlerific Line. I would definitely recommend having at least one set per toddler. They are great for at home use, but I think you could even bring them along to a restaurant or a grandparent's house. The products, which start at just $3.99, are available for purchase directly on the Zak Designs Website. Be sure to connect with Zak Designs on FacebookTwitterPinterest, and Instagram. 1. I know how you feel! I don't think I would ever had guessed that Reese preferred to have her food separated if I didn't read that it's a "thing".
