Leave Adorable Love Notes with Fun Chalk #Review + #Giveaway

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, and I have been trying to come up with some cute and clever ways to show my hubby and son just how much I love them, without going overly crazy on Valentine's Day merch. When hubby and I were first married, we loved to leave each other little love notes around the house. After we became parents, that sort of thing kind of went out the window. We're slowly trying to bring back the romance, and I've got a cute and clever idea for Valentine's Day that I think hubby and B will both like.

Fun Chalk Liquid Chalk Markers can easily be used on any non-porus surface, to leave a special message or love note! Perfect for Valentine's Day! They're great for home, office or classroom use, and are non-toxic, water-based, washable, odorless, dust-free, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly! Fun Chalk Liquid Chalk Markers are available in a pack of eight bright, bold colors, and are ideal for use on non-porus chalkboards, whiteboards, windows, mirrors, and plastics.

I was excited to receive the opportunity to try out a set of Fun Chalk Liquid Chalk Markers. We keep a family chalkboard calendar in our kitchen, and I love keeping it updated and decorated for holidays and special occasions!

The Fun Chalk Liquid Chalk Markers came in a set of eight, and I received the following colors: White, Orange, Purple, Pink, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Red.

I loved how bold and bright the colors looked! I was used to using boring old white on my chalkboard calendar, so I couldn't wait to jazz it up with some color! We use our chalkboard as our command center. If one of us has an appointment, rehearsal, meeting, or we have a family event to attend, it's placed on the calendar, so momma can keep up with everyone's schedules!

To use the Fun Chalk Liquid Chalk Markers, I opened the package and selected the colors I wanted. I decided to go with white, red, and pink for Valentine's Day. I followed the direction on the marker. I removed the cap, and then holding the marker upright, applied pressure to the tip for several seconds. Next, I replaced the cap, and shook the marker back and forth for several seconds. Next, I grabbed a paper towel, and pressed the tip of the marker down on the paper towel, until the liquid chalk began to run into the tip of the marker. Once the marker was ready for use, I went over to the chalkboard on the wall in our kitchen, and got to work.

I used the red and pink colors for the calendar numbers, and to fill in our family schedule.

I was able to use the markers to create little heart designs around Valentine's Day, on the calendar.

I really liked the way these chalk markers performed. They wrote extremely well, and the tips are small enough for me to be able to fill in a lot of info on our calendar, which I appreciate. It won't be long before our calendar is filled up much more than it is now (February is sort of a slow month for us), and I'll need to start color-coding the who, what, when and where. I plan to assign each family member their own color, and then use another color for joint family events and activities.

The Fun Chalk Liquid Chalk Markers wipe away easily. Unlike many other chalk markers I have used in the past, these really wipe away nicely, leaving no residue behind. As you can see on my calendar, pictured above, I have leftover chalk marker still on the calendar that won't wipe away, no matter what I try! Fun Chalk just wipes away with water, no matter where you use it!

It's so much fun to use the markers on mirrors to leave little love notes! I have already left hubby a few special notes in the bathroom. I have also left a couple of notes directly on my refrigerator! Yes- I can write my grocery list on the fridge door, and then wipe it away! Fun Chalk Liquid Chalk Markers can be used at home, at school, at the office, etc. You could even use them to decorate car windows for a special event or occasion!

B and I have had a lot of fun using the Fun Chalk Markers at his chalkboard arts and crafts table! We've drawn all sorts of silly pictures, and we've played fun games, and we've even practiced writing his letters and numbers with them. The larger size is perfect for B's little hands, making the markers easy for him to grasp and hold. I can tell that we're going to have a lot of fun with these awesome chalk markers for a long time! The best thing about them, is that they are non-toxic, and washable. I can feel good about letting my son use them, and if the liquid chalk winds up on his clothing, it just washes away! Mom win!
