One of the classic fall fashion staples is a good pair of brown boots. I love wearing boots, and am always sad to put them away in the springtime. By mid-August, my feet are longing to be back in boots, and I am ready to put my summer wardrobe away and trade it for all things fall fashion! A good pair of boots can be pretty special, and make the person wearing them feel confident, fun, flirty, laid back, and comfy. I just retired a pair of brown riding boots that I have loved and have worn for the past six years. In fact, I wore them so much that they became cracked in many places, and were well beyond repair. As sad as I was to put those boots away one last time, I looked forward to the challenge of finding and purchasing a new pair of brown boots. I was not about to go through this fall and winter without a new pair!

So, hubby and I set out on a brown boot quest. We visited store after store, and hubby was very patient with me as I agonized over many pairs of boots- none of them quite right for me. You see, I am quite particular when it comes to shoes and handbags, and I knew what I was looking for in a boot- I just couldn't seem to find them anywhere. I even shopped online a bit, only to wind up disappointed by the looks, the craftsmanship, or the outrageous prices of some of the boots that caught my eye.

I then remembered my wonderful experience with White Mountain, and how much I enjoyed my beautiful Graceful Black Boots that I had the pleasure of reviewing last holiday season. You can find my full review on those little beauties, here. I don't know why I didn't think to check out White Mountain to begin with- they have an incredible selection of women's boots! If all of my boots were White Mountain boots, I would be perfectly happy- they're so gorgeous!

I chose the Lioness Brown Boots by White Mountain. They caught my eye right off the bat as I searched through the available new boot styles for the fall 2014 season. Let me tell you, White Mountain knows what women want in a good pair of boots- great quality, sleek design, comfort and style, and of course- a great price!

The Lioness Boots by White Mountain have such a beautiful design and such gorgeous details. They're actually more than I hoped to find in a new pair of boots this fall season. They encompass a classic riding boot style with a slight slouch, for a relaxed look and feel. They feature beautiful stitching, and pretty embellishments, as well.

The zip sides make for an easy on/off, especially nice for when you want to wear these with a pair of jeans. The boots also feature a slight heel- 1.5 inches.

Unique U-Shape top- front and back, for ultimate wearing comfort.

The Lioness Boots also feature a comfort panel, allowing for a bit of stretch in the calves for those who need it.

I could not wait to wear these gorgeous new brown riding boots! I was itching to put them on, and as soon as we had a cool-ish day, I slipped them on with a pair of skinny jeans. I got the boots in a 7 1/2, and they fit very well. I sometimes buy boots in a size 8, to allow room for a thicker sock, but truthfully, I hardly ever wear thick boot socks, and didn't want to risk them being too big. These fit beautifully in the toes, the heel, and through the calf. There's plenty of room for me to get these on over a pair of pants or jeans, and that added back comfort panel with the extra stretch is amazing!

The Lioness Boots are perfect for a casual style, but they also look great with dresses and tunics. I couldn't wait to wear them with one of my favorite fall dresses and show them off!

The Lioness Boots are so beautiful that I was hardly surprised that I received numerous compliments on them. I have been wearing them every chance I get! I plan to get lots of wear-time in with them this fall and winter! They're not only beautiful- they're super comfortable to wear all day long. I haven't even fully broken them in yet, and have no complaints. I have worn them all day long- shopping, and going about my regular daily routine, with no problems. These are perfect for a day at the office, a night on the town, brunch with friends, or for everyday casual wear.
