With the school year back in full swing, many of its programs and traditions are in full swing right along with it. Since this is my son's first year in school, I am sort of new to all of the expected 'extras' that go along with being enrolled in school. We saw B's very first school fundraiser flyer come home in his backpack, just last week, and while it's exciting to be a part of something like this, which will support the school, I can't help but wish the fundraiser itself was a bit different. Too often, we're asked to purchase items that we don't need or won't use as part of the fundraising process.
