Save Money and Rent Your Textbooks from Campus Book Rentals

When I was in college, I remember being in the campus bookstore with my dad, and the two of us almost going into shock over the cost of my books. Core class textbooks were so expensive ($300.00+ for some science text books), and I was a Lit major, and had to buy tons of other books that couldn't even be purchased in our bookstore. Buying books always cost my poor dad what wound up to be hundreds of dollars each semester, and many of them couldn't be sold back at the end of the semester. Buying books was always such a headache- the lines, the waiting, the confusion... I'm sure my parents wished there could have been an easier way to purchase books and save a little money, as well.

Now, there's an easier, more convenient way for students (and their parents) to get the textbooks needed for their college courses, through Campus Book Rentals. Campus Book Rentals allows students to rent, return, and sell their textbooks online. Founded by Alan Martin, when he was a college student, himself. Mr. Martin knows the pain of paying for overpriced textbooks all too well, which is why he was determined to come up with a way to help students get the books needed for their studies at a fraction of the price.

How Does Campus Book Rentals Work?

It couldn't be easier to start renting books from Campus Book Rentals, which serves students on almost every campus in the nation! Campus Book Rentals also offers their amazing RentBack Program, which allows students to rent out the books they already own, directly through Campus Book Rentals. Students simply send in their textbooks to Campus Book Rentals, and then the Campus Book Rentals team rents those textbooks out to other students, and keeps those books on file until their is no longer a demand for that textbook. What does this mean for the student? The student can make up to 2-4X more money off of the book rental than they would if they sold it back to their bookstore at the end of the semester. Imagine the frustration students and parents feel when the campus bookstore offers the student $30.00 for a book they paid $200.00 for- 3 months prior! The Rent Back Program is a great way for students to get some of their money back on their books, while keeping those text books in use.

Campus Book Rentals also partners with Operation Smile, and donates to this wonderful organization with each textbook rented. Operation Smile is children's medical charity that performs safe, effective cleft lip and cleft palate surgery, and delivers postoperative and ongoing medical therapies to children in low and middle income countries. By renting a book from Campus Book Rentals, you are helping children around the globe- one smile at a time. Now that's what I call money well spent.
