I think that we are going to do something super simple, like Pasta e Fagioli or Tomato Soup and Elbows.

Whatcha Reading?

I have two books that I am reading for future Mommy's Block Party reviews. One is The Princess Problem: Guiding Our Girls Through the Princess Obsessed Years by Rebecca Hains, PhD and the other is Messy Beautiful Love by Darlene Schacht. I haven't read a book written for an adult in a while, so I'm enjoying both of them quite a bit!

Listening to Anything Good?

I very rarely listen to the radio, but Drew has been kind of digging the John Legend song "All of Me" , so we have been listening to that quite a bit lately.

Whatcha Been Watching?

We've been watching America's Got Talent. I love the show, there are so many people with so many different talents. One of my favorites from this season is comedian, Wendy Liebman. I watched her on Comedy Central (a little longer ago than I would like to admit) and when it finally clicked that it was her, I was so happy because her humor made quite the impact on me. I actually remember some of the jokes from the first time I saw her! They (and she) still make me laugh!

I Dreamed a Dream of...

I had a dream that I was at some sort of party (possibly a reunion) at my old high school (in the cafeteria and everything) and was catching up with some of my former classmates. All of the sudden, I noticed many people there were celebrities from the 80s and I got really excited. I know, I'm a nerd, but seriously if you saw Scott Baio, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, or any of the New Kids on the Block at your high school reunion (or whatever it was) you'd probably be a little excited too! :-D

What I'm Loving This Week...

That this was a 4-day school week for Drew. I'm still getting used to her being gone during the day!

I am so Done With...

Clutter. I'm desperately trying to get rid of the things we don't need, no matter how (sentimentally) attached I am to them. They are just things, and if we don't use them they need to go! Right?

What I'm Looking Forward To...

Open House at Drew's school. We will finally get to really talk to her new teacher and if it's like last year's, I will get to sign her up for the Girl Scouts again! She will be a Brownie this year and we plan on getting her the uniform!
