Happy 5th Birthday S! Mommy's Heaven {Review and Giveaway}

Disney's Frozen has been a huge hit for almost a full year now. I know my house has been overrun with movie quotes, singing, and reenacting scene after scene of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and the rest of the cast. With S wanting a Frozen themed birthday party, I knew I had to step up my game and find some awesome ideas and special gifts to help us celebrate.

S's favorite character in the movie is Elsa, the Snow Queen. I am not sure why she is the absolute favorite, but she is. Maybe it is her ice cold powers, her beauty, her singing, who knows, but S always has to be her. When searching for birthday party ideas on Etsy, I came across the perfect thing for my little Elsa wannabe. I knew that this would make S's day and she would be able to use it over and over and over again.

Mommy's Heaven is an Etsy shop that opened in late 2013 and based in Utah. Shop owner and mom, Jennifer, needed a way to help provide for her family when her husband was furloughed from his job. Her prayers were answered in the form of her inspirations (her kids) and creativity, to open her own Etsy shop and make her visions come to life. Jennifer's main goal is for her customers to have a heavenly experience as you work together to find your perfect item, whether it be clothing, home décor, lotions, soap, and more. While browsing Jennifer's shop, you can see that with over 100 sales and a 5 star rating, Mommy's Heaven is doing something right.

When I came across Mommy's Heaven, I was immediately drawn to a few different items, but one in particular caught my eye. I messaged Jennifer with a few questions and included our blog information as well. She quickly got back to me (as she has every single time I have messaged her) and answered all of the questions I had with detail and also said she would honored to work with MBP. I was so excited and I know Jennifer is too. She has truly been a blessing to work with-kind, friendly, helpful, and most of all generous. I highly recommend working with her, you will not be disappointed in her customer service. After discussing all our details, and figuring out time frames, Jennifer got to work. Her normal turn-around is three weeks, and sure enough, in just under 3 weeks a package arrived for us.

I can't wait for S to open this up. Jennifer had everything sealed and tied with a cute bow, also including her business card. The business card was really cute and well done and included all the contact information I would need.

S had no idea what was going to be inside. I let her wait until party day to open it up and see.

She took extra care while opening

"Mom, what is this?"

Jennifer had forewarned me that when she shipped this item, the sparkles on it would shed. She recommended opening over a trash can or outside. *Note* I did not follow this tip, it just added to our party decorations, but Jennifer knows what she is talking about. :)

We had one amazed little Elsa on our hands.

Mommy's Heaven sent us this gorgeous Elsa inspired cape. We had to put it on immediately and show it off.

The Mommy's Heaven Elsa inspired cape is perfect for a Frozen themed party. The cape is made of organza fabric, teal colored, just the right match to Elsa. It is around 53", but Jennifer can custom make it to different sizes if need be. I feel like this size was great for S, enough to cover her and give her plenty of twirly fabric leftover. The cape also has sparkle snowflakes that have been heat pressed. The cape can be secured around the neck with the included silver sparkly tie. The Elsa inspired cape retails for $15.

Elsa is ready for her party

S has continued to use her Elsa inspired cape from Mommy's Heaven. Today, "Let it Go" came on the radio and here is what ensued-dancing, singing, and twirling around as Elsa. We also made teal play dough and created snowflakes and snowmen.

I can not say enough good things about Jennifer and Mommy's Heaven. From customer service to quality of their products, they are great. I can't wait to see where Mommy's Heaven goes from here!
