Recovering from both a divorce and the death of her son, Lockhart works to find a balance between the challenges of her family and her career, while a potential new romance arises.
My Thoughts...
I am new to Cedar Cove, as I had never watched it before receiving the DVD for review. I knew I would probably get pretty into the show, though, because I am a huge Andie McDowell fan, and the cast of charaters in Cear Cove are multi-generational. This is a family friendly drama about a grown woman at a crossroad, who becomes torn between her family, her hometown, her love life, and her career. There are a lot of heart-felt moments, and many tense situations, which I can relate to.
My mom really loves this show, and I know that I will be sharing my Cedar Cove Collection with her. After watching the first season, I think it would be a lot of fun for the two of us to watch season 2 together, and have a girls night, doing so.
