Good Eats- What's For Dinner Tonight?
Tonight is Family Night Out with my parents, after our musician's rehearsal at church. Normally, it would be our week to have dinner with my hubby's mom, but she's on vacation- soaking up some sun in lovely Tampa, Florida, so my mom is filling in on the B-watching this week. I am looking forward to having a nice salad for dinner tonight.
Whatcha Reading?
I broke down and bought a copy of The Fault in Our Stars. I'm still not sure about it. Nine chapters in, I still want to keep reading it, but I am just really depressed about the whole story. Have you read this one? What did you think, without spoling it for me?
Listening to Anything Good?
I am trying to get the VBS songs down pat, but I have to say, they are not as cool as they were last year, and I'm not so sure the kids are going to be very excited about music time this year. I'd almost rather just plan the music myself!
Whatcha Been Watching?
Not really- I have been trying to catch up on work every free second I get, which hasn't been easy lately.
I Dreamed a Dream of...
I had a dream about giant bugs... but I think that was due to the billboard I saw for the giant bug exhibit at our local zoo!
What I'm Lovin' this Week...
Driving Pearl. I have had some driving lessons in the new car, a stick, which I can't drive very well. I have been pretty determined to figure it out, though, and am catching on faster than I expected I would. Go me!
I am so Done With...
My family tripping over each other at home. We just need a little bit more space... space to walk, play, live... you know. A bigger house is the next thing on my list.
What I'm Looking Forward to...
Our family vacation in July. I can't wait to spend some time with my extended family in NJ, and take Balian to some of my favorite places, like Van Saun Park, Seaside Heights, Carlo's Bakery, Applegate Farm, and of course- NYC!

It's so darn hot here today that I've had to stay inside. So I've got a big pot of fresh green beans on to have with chicken and a salad for dinner. I've been cleaning and piddling around the house while watching some great old movies on Turner Classic Movies. I love this channel! I watch it 24/7 almost. I finally got to see Mrs. Miniver wiht Greer Garson today. Awesome movie. Wish I could do more, but I have Lupus and I've been rather sick lately, so I've been in the bed a lot.
