Happy Saturday! I have that Chicago song “Saturday in the Park” stuck on a loop in my head, because we are actually heading to the park (thank you Spring for finally showing up) and it does feel like “I’ve been waiting such a long time…….FOR SATURDAY”!
I am so excited about taking the girls to the park, it has been far too long since our last visit. I love everything about the park- the fresh air, people watching, seeing the girls make and play with new friends, and having the girls fall asleep almost the second their heads hit their pillows at night because all that fun just wore them out completely! I also love that the park we frequent has a really nice walking track. Walking/jogging is my favorite type of exercise and I just added the Runtastic app to my smartphone. I think the weather may even be nice enough for us to have a picnic, which will make our oldest absolutely giddy since she has been asking to have an outside picnic all winter long (and it was one LONG winter!). This trip to the park is going to be pretty great!
I hope I don’t get too sleepy myself from all the park fun, because tonight I get to make something for tomorrow’s after church fellowship. I still have not decided on what exactly to make, but I am searching for something with little to no sugar. If you have any suggestions or recipes, I’d really appreciate them!

I love getting to sit outside on the patio and drinking my coffee and reading the paper in the morning. I also love going to the park that is 5 blocks from my house. It is nice that you and your family got to go to the park. It looks like you all are having fun!
