Valentine's Day is quickly drawing near! I am becomming more and more excited about how our family will spend Valentine's Day. I have already made plans with my husband, for us to take B out for a special Valentine's Day breakfast, and allow him to choose where he's like to go. We have a few Valentine decorations out in our house, and my wheels are turning for a special little Valentine treat for my little man- i.e. a new Hot Wheels car and maybe some chocolates. Of course, we show our love for one another each and every day, and don't generally go all out for Valentine's Day, but for some reason this year, something is telling me that I need to make it extra special for both of my boys.

Since B was just a wee babe, I have enjoyed dressing him in personalized children's apparel, especially around different holidays. Valentine's Day is no exception, and I am slowly beginning to realize that I won't have much longer to dress him up in these adorable shirts/outfits. To make Valentine's Day even more spectacular, I connected with Sabrina Pringle, owner of Buds 'n' Branches. Sabrina left the corporate world after becomming a mommy. She started out making adorable custom John Johns for her little guy, and then decided to turn her passion for making these customized pieces into her very own business. Sabrina offered to make a special Valentine's Day themed shirt for Balian, and I couldn't wait to see what it would look like! I had already taken a peek at Sabrina's designs, and was already in love with everything, so I knew I would adore what she chose to send to us!

Sabrina sent me a little preview photo of the shirt she would be sending us beforehand, so I sort of knew what to expect, but I have to tell you all, the shirt looked even better than I imagined it would, in person! As I removed the shirt from the package, I noticed how soft it was, right off the bat, and was very thankful for that! B is starting to become just as picky as his daddy, regarding clothing, so the softer, the better!

I love the adorable design on this Valentine's Day boys t-shirt. It definitely has a Valentine look and feel to it, without being too cutesy or in your face. I love the truck- blue and grey and great colors for little boys, and what I love more, is that the fabric patterns are so on trend, between the polka dots and the chevron pattern. The appliqued design also includes three hearts, which are on the truck... perfect for my little heartbreaker.

I couldn't wait to see what the shir looked like on B. The shirt is a size 4T, and it looked like it would be a great fit. B is tall, and has broad shoulders, so sizing is almost always a concern of mine. He was very excited to see this special shirt, and I was surprised that he didn't complain about the inside, or underneath of the applique. This means that Sabrina does an excellent job of making sure little ones are comfortable- a huge plus for us!

B isn't always exactly thrilled about wearing personalized shirts. I think that may be due to his comfort level in them. This shirt is 100% cotton, the sleeve length is perfect, and he I could tell that he really liked having this shirt on. After we took some photos of him wearing the shirt, I told B that he could take it off, and we could save it for Valentine's Day, but he immediately replied with, 'No thanks, mommy... I want to keep my truck shirt on. I love it!' Happy boy, and happy mommy!

I really love the fact that the appliqued dsign is large, and so is his name. The font used for B's name is super cute, and I love how well the thread colors match the appliques! We've been sharing some photos of B in his new shirt from Buds 'n' Braches, and already, tons of moms are asking me where it came from! I don't blame them- it's so super cute!

I can't thank Sabrina enough for sending us this special shirt! It's probably the most well received shirt to date, as far as B is concerned. I haven't washed it yet, but I don't imagine this shirt not washing well, with like colors. I can already tell that B is going to be requesting to wear this shirt until it warms up for spring/summer, and it looks like that's still a ways away!
