Clever Moms Choose Clever Birds #Review + #Giveaway

It may be super cold and even snowing here in North Carolina right now, but I know that warmer days are ahead. Temperatures sort of just go up and down this time of year. I have been miniature golfing in 70+ degree tempertures in February before, and have also played it out in the cold, 30 degree temps and below. You just never know what mother nature holds, so it's best to be prepared with winter gear and already have a few spring wardrobe essentials on hand for those weeks that start out with temps in the teens, and wind up in the sixties by the weekend.

Since B is our first child, we don't really have the luxury of 'hand-me-down' clothing from previous siblings. Our sisters don't yet have children, so B is it- though we've been fortunate to receive some of B Adler's gently used and totally rad clothing- thanks Steph! My B is rough on his clothing, so quality and durability matter a lot to me. We have stuck with a few brands that we know hold up to lots of play, washing, and fit our son well, too. I am already building his spring and sumer wardrobe, and from the looks of him, he's going to need all new apparel this season. So, when I stumbled upon Clever Birds while looking for boy's clothing, I knew I'd found something special!

Pug Football Tee

I was so excited to team up with Clever Birds to review a couple of their newest designs for boys. I connected with Raya, who sent us two adorable tees! I was able to see a little preview of the t-shirts, but couldn't wait to see what they looked like in person. Both of the tees featured dogs and a sport/activity, so I knew I would have a happy little boy on my hands.

We decided to try on the Pug Football Tee first. Balian was immediately drawn to the design. He's a big fan of blue (go figure), and really loved the striped design on the background of the image on the tee. The shirt features an adorable pug, wearing a football jersey and a football at its paws.

Is this a classic All American style, or what?

The t-shirt is a soft cotton-poly blens, and is creamy and dreamy against the skin. Sometimes we have issues with B trying on new clothing, but as soon as he touched this new Clever Birds t-shirt, he noticed how soft it was, and asked if he could put it on. He's modeling a size 4T. We're definitely full into buying him 4T clothing, and this fits him really well. It's a little roomy at the neck and has a bit of extra room through the shirt, which I love, because that means that he'll be able to wear it this spring and summer.

Bulldog Skater Tee

The second shirt that we received is the super cute Bulldog Skater T-Shirt. The shirt it white with blue verical stripes near the bottom of the shirt. The top and midle of the shirt feature a cool city-scape with red and blue stars, and of course- an adorable bulldog on a skateboard, complete with a boombox, and wearing a hat.

Balian was also excited about this t-shirt. For some reason, he really likes white shirts, so he took to this new tee pretty quickly. When he saw that it was another 'puppy shirt,' he squealed with delight and asked to wear it. He loved pointing out the bulldog, the stars, and what he decided had to be NYC in the background. Hey- it's the only big city the boy knows!

B had a great time playing in and showing off his new bulldog skater t-shirt from Clever Birds!

Of course, I love the way B looks in these Clever Birds tees. I think they're adorable, and I know that I'm not going to find carbon copies of these in other stores, and the other boys won't be wearing the exact same thing, everywhere we go. These tees are soft and comfy, and they wear extremely well. B has played hard in these t-shirts, and he been loving them so much, that he has not even wanted to take them off before the end of the day! The t-shirts can be machine washed and tumble dried on low, which is wonderful for me, because that means it can be washed and dried with his other shirts.

Now I have a great new brand to look forward to dressing the next Witt baby in... whenever that will be.
