Well folks, it's Friday, and I am pleased to say a big 'hello' from the beautiful Oak Island, NC. We're vacationing with the family (mom, dad, sister Britt, bro-in-law Cory, hubby and B) this week, and we're in one of our favorite places. Since we all love the beach so much, we generally hit the road after Christmas and spend a week at the beach together. We don't care that it's chilly and we can't swim or sun... we just love the beauty and majesty of the sea. 

Today, we took a trip down the road to Southport, NC- another one of our favorite places. Southport is so quaint, and it's a wonderful place to spend the day. There are so many little shops to pop in and out of, which we love to do! We enjoyed walking around, grabbed a coffee at Port City Java, and enjoyed seeing lots of photos that were captured when Safe Haven was filmed a couple of years ago in this area.
