Little by little, the holiday spirit is creeping into my heart and my home. It's taking all that I have within me to keep myself from putting out the Christmas decorations, especially when I have seen a few of the old homes in my own neighborhood with Christmas trees displayed in their living rooms, shining through their windows. I love Christmas decor. In fact, my mom and I are heading to the annual Southern Christmas Show for the very first time next weekend, and I am more excited that I was when I went to my first bridal expo after I became engaged years ago! I can't wait to see all of the twinkling lights, the holly jolly decor and get some fabulous decorating ideas, too!

I like to add a new piece of holiday decor to my collection here and there, and one item I knew I would need this season, was a new Christmas wreath. My hubby and I were gifted a lovely wreath when we were married, but it's seen a lot of wear and tear over the years. I was looking for something festive, but not your typical holiday wreath, and something that would match the colors I like to decorate with, since we decorate with burgandy, instead of red.

I took to Etsy, because I knew I would be able to find something unique, beautiful, and best of all- handmade, by someone special, who takes a lot of care in creating a masterpiece to be enjoyed by all who see it. I was so excited to connect with Tonya, owner of Two Inspire You, a shop offering gorgeous wreaths for every season! Tonya and I chatted a bit about how wonderful it would be to be able to feature one of her lovely wreaths, and she was happy to make one that matched my decor scheme. Tonya is a wife and mother of four, and loves to 'think outside the box' to create beautiful wreaths for front doors, and more!

This wreath truly appealed to me, which is interesting, because it's not a traditional Christmas wreath. I love the hydrangeas, and never would have throught to use them at Christmas time. These eight artificial hydrangeas are arranged so simply, and so beautifully on the wreath, and the long burlap bow tops it off beautifully, as well.

Here's the wreath, laid on my living room floor, to show you what it really looks like...

The wreath is a grapevine form, and features eight beautiful deep red and light green hydrangea heads. The flowers are artificial, but even my mother-in-law had to do a touch and feel of the wreath for proof that the flowers weren't real. They look so beautiful all side by side in a circle, just hanging daintilly. The bow is made fom burlap, and it's quite large. I like it because it's not too fancy, yet beautiful in its simplicity. I can easily hang the wreath up by the bow alone, on a nail in the door, or on a wreath hanger that fits over the door.

Because each wreath is custom created, this particular one generally runs between 17-19" in diameter and 5-6" deep.

Need a smaller/larger size? A smaller wreath can be created with 6 hydrangeas (17-18" diameter) for $70, or 12 hydrangeas (24-26" diameter) for $115.

A beautiful, cheery wreath to enjoy during the holiday season!

This wreath is so beautiful, that I am unsure whether or not I want to put it outside! I have a space on my front porch (aside from my door), to hang a wreath, but I also like where it currently is in my kitchen. The colors also match my dining room incredibly well, so I am thinking of hanging it over the mirror in my dining room, and draping Christmas garland over it. There are so many ways to decorate with this wreath- it can adorn your front door to greet your guests, hang out on the porch, or be hung to enjoy inside of your home. I can't wait to show you what I decide to do with it... although I may just leave it where it is, because I love the way it brightens up my kitchen!
