Balian couldn't wait to give these new Fruit Bursts a try!

We started off by trying the Peach-Mango Fruit Bursts first. Balian is a huge fan of squeezable pouches, so I wasn't surprised that as soon as he saw the colorful packaging, he'd want to do a lunch time taste-test! We got a little plate of lunch together, but then my picky eater, shoved the plate back at me. Apparently, he wasn't having grilled cheese squares with cucumbers and grapes. Instead, he asked for plain noodles.

A plate of noodles... and a Fruit Burst pouch!

...and some cranberries, too!

I obliged, and allowed B to have the noodles for lunch. Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens a lot. My almost three-year-old, is extremely finnicky about what he eats. Some days, he's totally hungry, and devours everything I set in front of him. Other days, nothing looks appetizing, and he wants plain Jane noodles. When we have days like this, it's so easy for me to open up a Fruit Burst pouch, and let my son 'discover' it sitting on the table, beside his plate. He loves the strawberry and peach-mango flavors, and sucks the pouches dry! This makes my job a little easier. I don't have to plead, beg or threaten to get my child to eat his fruits and veggies!

Our new Del Monte lunchbox...

...with a cute pocket, containing a magnetic photo frame!

Our lunch box is the perfect size to tote snacks around town. This year, we're adding lots of activities to our daily routine, including storytime at the library, and our Wednesday afternoons at our church's Weekday Church School program. I can't wait to take Balian's picture on that first day of Church School (next week!) and then put it behind the frame on our 'fridge!

  3. I have a difficult time getting my grandson to eat fruit and veggies but this sounds like something he would enjoy. I actually think he'd like the strawberry, apple cinnamon and the mixed berry fruit burst and would be great to freeze and send in his lunches
