My family and I just returned home from a week long vacation at Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina. I love the beach... truly, there's no place I'd rather be. We had nice weather, so we spent a good bit of time out on the beach, and by the poolside, too. I love being at the beach, not just for the beautiful surroundings, but the beauty benefits, as well. The sand and salt water are amazing natural exfoliators for your skin, helping to wipe away dead skin, etc. My skin always looks and feels beautiful after we've been to the beach (and it's tanned, too!) and I'd like to keep it that way, even at home.

Sugar Polish, by Pure Romance

This month, Karen chose to send me the Pure Romance Sugar Polish. I am a huge fan of sugar polishes. I love using them right after I shave my legs, because it just leaves them feeling so silky and smooth! I have been using different Pure Romance bath and beauty products for a couple of years now, and have yet to be disappointed. I knew I'd love the Sugar Polish!

I couldn't wait to get into a hot shower after we returned from vacation, and give the sugar polish a try. I wanted to keep that summery glow to my skin, which can quickly disappear once you're back to your regular routine, and um- take steaming hot showers, which dry your skin out.

Green Tea Sugar Polish

I only needed a little bit of the sugar polish for one use. I gave the tube of polish a little shake, so the oils could mix, and then squeezed out a bit of the sugar polish into my hand. I gently rubbed and massaged it into my skin, and it just melted right into it. The sugar polish is comprised of natural sugar and oils, and is available in scents like Pink Cupcake, Pear Berry, Sweet Fantasie and Pomegranate.

After using the sugar polish, the water just beaded up over my skin. My legs looked gorgeous after using the sugar polish in the shower! They were bright and vibrant, and super soft to the touch. I'm sort of funny about wearing shorts to bed, because I hate the prickly hairs or dry skin on my shins rubbing together in my sleep. After I used the sugar polish, however, I couldn't wait to shed the yoga pants and sleep in my shortie shorts! Hubby was happy to see the yoga pants go, too. He commented on how silky soft, and smooth my skin felt, which definitely made me feel a little sexier.

I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who's wanting to revive their tired skin, or who just wants to pamper themselves a little bit. For just $24.00, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck (no pun intended- well, maybe a little!), and you'll love the way you look and feel after you use it. This is a great product to use all over your body, or in drier spots like elbows, knees, etc. Just be careful- the oils will make your tub slippery! You'll want to try to wash that away a bit, before letting little ones into the tub, etc.
