Getting to Know You Thursdays #kidpresident #peptalk #soulpancake

Thanks for dropping by to get to know the MBP team of bloggers a little better. This week, we're catching up with MBP Sr. Contributor, Ondria Witt.

Good Eats- What's For Dinner Tonight?
It's Family Night Out to Casa Grande before we head off on vacation!

Whatcha Reading?
The Other Boleyn Girl, by Phillipa Gregory & Chicken Soup for the Soul, Parenthood

Listening to Anything Good?
Pirates of the Caribbean Soundtracks (hubby loves them!)

Whatcha Been Watching?
Ugly Betty and Frasier on Netflix

I Dreamed a Dream of...
No dreams lately... just nights of interrupted sleep! Ugh.

What I'm Lovin' this Week...
Family time. I am so looking forward to spending some time at the beach with hubby's family, and have been loving the time we've been spending with my family and our good friends lately. Summer get-togethers are just the best, even impromptu ones!

I am so Done With...
My two year old screaming and throwing tantrums... hence the reading Chicken Soup- Parenthood!

Silliest Thing this Week...
An absolutely hilarious and heartwarming video that we watched in our contemporary worship service at church last Sunday. Posted below for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks for catching up with me this week! I'd love to hear how you've been doing this week, too! Pick a topic from the list and tell me about it!

  1. Whooo Hooo... you are going to the beach. Yay for you. We took all our kids and grandkids in July to Kill Devil Hills and rented a house right across the street from the beach. What a fun time it was.

  5. I wish we could go to the beach! I'm not too far away from one...but far enough that it would cost a bit to go.

  8. Good luck with the Other Boleyn Girl. That was the one that got me hooked on Philippa Gregory so now I own them all. I'm convinced that reading historical fiction is educational.

  9. Not having cable for about 10 years now, I had never seen Ugly Betty. Just finished the entire thing on Netflix. Not in one day of course. i really enjoyed it and was surprised that I did.

  11. It sounds like you have a really fun vacation coming up! I love going to the beach. As for the 2 year old enjoy it while you can (even the tantrums) because time goes by so quickly. My kids are 15 and 27 and it seems like yesterday I was experiencing the very same thing.

  12. Love the pep talk. My daughter had showed it to me before. Always good to see it again. I have not been reading and not been watching much on TV. Oh wait, I watched Master Chef.
