Diapers, diapers everywhere and not enough money to buy them all. I know I have said it before cloth diaper mommas have addiction problems, Binky D Diapers has just made mine worse. All brands have a “following” that's why they stay around, but Binky D Diapers has its own special group of diaper stalkers.
I've been a fan of Binky D Diapers on facebook for a little while now, and apart of the B/S/T group (buy/sell/trade) and have seen some of the most adorable prints and custom cape diapers ever. Binky D Diapers makes “Hybrid Fitteds” which is a very special type of diaper. What is a “Hybrid Fitted”? It is a fitted diaper that has a hidden body layer of poly fleece, sandwiched between the outer print and the inner velour. This layer of poly fleece helps the diaper to be more effective. Liquid hits the fleece layer and is deflected back into the absorbent inner, soaking up into the rest of the soaker pad and inner velour instead of just saturating the middle and immediately needing a change. The hybrid fitted is still a “fitted” diaper, meaning it is breathable and it isn’t totally waterproof. It would require the use of a cover to be considered waterproof. Many folks like to use these coverless around the house because they are more water-resistant than a regular fitted. Our Binky D Diaper
Binky D Diapers has such a following of devoted mommas who just love their Binky Ds. As long as I have been in the group I have never heard 1 bad comment about them. The Binky D Diaper “custom list” is about a mile long of mama's waiting to design their very own Binky D. So when given the opportunity to finally get my hands on one I had to say yes.
Everytime Binky D Diapers has a “stocking” of their Hyena cart page I miss it, let me tell you these mommas “stalk” the page and the Binky D Diapers sell out fast! So my name is on the customs list and it will stay there now that I have tried this one and am in love!

So the very first thing I noticed when I got my Binky D Diaper was the construction. All cloth diapers have elastic somewhere on them, waistband, legs etc. This is some of the toughest, strongest elastic I have seen in a diaper. That is a good thing, since you are pulling it secure around the waist and want a good fit at the legs so it doesn't leak. The last thing you want is a cheap elastic that is going to stretch out or break.

The next thing that blew my mind about the Binky D Diaper was the inserts. It is pretty standard for Hybrid fitteds or even regular fitteds to come with 2 inserts for extra absorbency, but I have never seen one so long. I immediately emailed Ashley at Binky D Diapers to find out about this long insert. She told me “ its a snake style soaker that has hidden heavy bamboo fleece and double sided velour for softness against babies skin and the bottom soaker is two layers of heavy bamboo fleece topped with cotton velour for softness”.

Now I have heard that you can go hours with a Binky D Diaper without a cover with no leaks so of course I had to try it myself. So I put our Binky D Diaper on Cameron and we went 5 hours with no leaks, could have gone longer but someone had to go poopy, so we had to change it.

Now Cameron is big for his age (27ish lbs and 29-30inches at 11months), but we have our OS (one size) Binky D Diaper on the smallest rise and a good snug snap fit around the waist, this diaper is going to last him for years!

Now my next test of my Binky D Diaper was the overnight test. First we tried our regular routine of a diaper (this time our Binky D Diaper) and a cover. Cameron is a super heavy wetter overnight, and a lot of times when he wakes up his pj pants have a slight urine smell (this drives me nuts). Cameron is usually in his night time diaper for 12 hours, usually 7p-7a, so it gets pretty wet. When he woke up the first time in his Binky D Diaper it was completely dry on the outside and there was no urine smell!! I was in awe of this amazing little diaper. Then test 2 no cover and just some fleece longies for the 12hrs and the same thing!!!
