Funkoos Organic Baby Clothing (Review & Giveaway)

My sweet little baby is quickly becoming an on-the-move toddler, and he is 100% boy. He loves dirt, cars and trucks, and just about anything that looks yucky! I want him to be my baby as long as possible, but at the same time, I know I have to let him grow up, and let go of 'baby stuff.' I still like to put him in onesies, though. As long as I can get away with the onesies, I'll use them! They are perfect for summertime, and they allow me easy access for quick diaper changes, or trips to the potty. There's just one problem with onesies- a lot of them are boring in design, and I would go crazy seeing B in plain white onesies, all the time.

Recently, while browsing Zulily for adorable little boy apparel, I came across a sale for Funkoos, an organic baby clothing company. Funkoos specializes in bringing soft organic cotton clothing and accessories to parents everywhere. I was in contact with Funkoos, and was given the opportunity to review one of their adorable boys onesies, in a 24 month size, for Balian.

Funkoos came about a few years ago, when their team members went shopping specifically for newborn clothing that was chemical and pesticide-free. Unable to find anything that was affordable, or a quality of high caliber, they went to work, striving to bring families safe, durable, and affordable organic clothing for their little ones.

When we received our package from Funkoos, I was eager for Balian to wear his new onesie. I removed the onesie from the packaging, and was so surprised by how very soft the cotton fabric was. It looked to be a great size, too. Usually, in my past experience with onesies, they have all run very small, but this soft, white cotton bodysuit from Funkoos, looked like it might be a little roomy. The 24 month onesie features an adorable embroidered deisgn of a trio of trucks: red, green and blue. Since Balian is fascinated by trucks, I was sure he was going to love wearing this cute onesie.

I put Balian in his new Trucks Short-sleeved Bodysuit from Funkoos as soon as we returned from our vacation. I was right- it was roomy, which is fantastic. This means that can can wear his new Funkoos organic cotton onesie through the fall season. He loved looking down at the trio of trucks on his tummy, and calling out each color to me. The onesie wore well all day- through meals, playtime and nap time, too. I liked that there was lots of room in the neckline, and it was easy to get this over Balian's head. He tends to freak out if I have to tug to get anything over his head. Since this onesie is a little big, yet, I was able to snap the bottom closed with ease at every diaper change. Balian is a pretty long, and tall little dude, so having some extra length in his onesie is a dream come true for me.

I am really very impressed with Funkoos organic baby clothing. The cotton onesie that we received is truly cute in design, but it's also quality clothing. The cotton onesie is made of thick organic cotton, and I can already tell that as long as I can keep it clean and stain-free, it's going to be around for a long time. I don't feel like I have to worry about it wearing too thin or getting little holes in it, as onesies often do.
