As a busy mom, it's sometimes hard for me to keep up with the latest fashion trends. I live in North Carolina, and unfortunately, trendy fashion just isn't the norm around here. Most North Carolinians that I know like to be comfortable, and that may be due to the fact that instead of experiencing actual seasons, it remains summer-like for 8 months out of the year. Closed-toe shoes are hardly ever seen around here, pedicures are a year-round thing, and T-shirts with jeans are as dressy as some folks want to get, save for Sundays, when we don our best for church!

Lucky for me, I recently discovered an amazing online boutique- Conversation Pieces. I connected with Audrey Ng, and she offered to send me one of her favorite pieces from the boutique to review. I was actually excited that I was being given the chance to review someone else's favorite piece, because if I'd had to narrow it down to one piece to review, it would have taken forever to decide! Audry began Conversation Pieces eight years ago- in her bedroom. She felt very passionately about offering indie designers a place to showcase their designs. So, new to the US from Singapore, Audry connected with young designers online, and built a venue for them- a website, right from her own laptop, so that they could showcase their designs to the entire world. As the years went by, Conversation Pieces grew and Audry moved from the bedroom to the living room, and then the guest house. Now, Conversation Pieces has caught the attention of customers all over the world!

Audrey sent me the seriously popular Perfect Shirt. I loved the way it was packaged- all wrapped up, tied off with a cute hot pink, lacy ribbon, complete with a little lollipop (or sucker, as NC folks tend to call them). There was also some info about Conversation Pieces included, as well as a code to use for free shipping!

At last! The Perfect Shirt, Charcoal, size Small...

I absolutely could not wait to wear this new shirt! It is so soft and lightweight- the perfect spring shirt! The Perfect Shirt is 65% poly and 35% cotton, and feels so lovely against my skin! The sleeves are adjustable in length, and stay put with a cute snap feature. I love that I can have this be long sleeved when it's cooler in the morning, and convert it to short sleeves in the warmer afternoons. The shirt features a really unique short/long hem, meaning it comes to the waist line in the front, but is longer in the back- covers my rear. On the left breast, is a pocket with a zipper, which Balian loves to play with. The shirt slips on and over a tank- easy breezy! It's a borrowed style from the boys, but this shirt is tailored to fit the girls!

 I paired the Perfect Shirt in charcoal with skinny jeans and jeweled thongs for a casual spring time look.

I have worn the Perfect Shirt from Conversation Pieces twice already, and have loved it both times! I am so glad to have this smart piece in my spring wardrobe! I have been wearing this shirt casually, with a pair of skinny jeans and flats. It's also going to be super cute for fall, and I'll pair my skinnies and boots with it, then! What I find so very helpful about Conversation Pieces is that the CPcs girls help us out by giving 'how to wear' tips on each and every piece listed on their website! For example, the way I've been wearing this shirt is listed next to it, as well as an office look- pair it with a pencil skirt, tuck it in, and wear some cute flats or pumps for a dressed up look! Throw a pretty cardigan over it for a completely new look! This is one of those pieces that is so versatile, you can probably wear it one hundred different ways before you ever have to repeat a look! I've been lazing about in my Perfect Shirt, but I might just muster up the courage to try dressing it up!

The Perfect Shirt is perfect and flattering for every body type, too! It's also available in several different colors: charcoal, mocha, black, and berry. At just $29.00, you can't afford not to have this piece in your spring fashion collection! It's really more of a year-round piece. I plan on wearing it this spring, probably the way I've been wearing it, but then I also plan on wearing it during the summer. I can't help but think of what a great cover-up it'll make on the beach, or it'll look great paired with cute shorts and flat sandals. I already told you how I want to wear it in the fall, and in the winter, it'll look great paired with a cute jacket or cardigan! The possibilities with this particular shirt are endless!
