There's nothing like walking into your home (or any home, for that matter) and being greeted by sweet scents of the season. It makes you feel warm and cozy... like you could just kick your shoes off and grab a nice cup of coffee. I love fragrance. I enjoy burning candles all year round, and having different layers of fragrance dance from room to room in my home. The soft glow that candles give off can be cozy and even romantic at times, offering instant relaxation.


With little ones around, though, it's hard and even dangerous to have candles out and lit. I have a few surfaces that are up high enough to display a candle or two, but with our busy schedules, I run the risk of forgetting that they are lit before heading out the door or to bed for the night. When fragrance warmers started hitting the market, I knew they would be an instant hit, especially among moms and pet owners. I have a couple of different fragrance warmers in my home, and just so happen to love them.



There are a lot of home fragrance companies out there today, and I've had the pleasure to work with some of them, but one company I knew very little about is Eclipse Candle Company. Martha McAdams is a representative with Eclipse Candle Co. and wanted to send in a warmer and some melts for me to try out. As I waited for my package to arrive from Martha, I went to the Eclipse Candle Co. website to read a little more about their company and products. I learned that two Christian families came together to form this company nearly a decade ago. They have a passion for Jesus Christ, which is evident in the way they conduct their business. They offer a beautiful fragrance collection from candles to flameless products. I love that they have this verse proudly displayed on their company website:

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3

I was immediately impressed by all of the beautiful candles and accessories Eclipse Candle Co. offers. I knew that I was in for a special treat from Martha. When my package from Martha arrived, I carefully opened the box and examined my beautiful new Paloma Warmer. Martha also sent me a pack of Memory Melts and Body Melts!

The Paloma Warmer is just absolutely stunning. The photos on Martha's website just don't do it justice. This is a beautiful ceramic full-size fragrance warmer. It's a lovely rich brown color with a dewy glaze over top. Unlike the other warmers I already own, this warmer is square, and so is the dish that sits on top of it. I love the designs on the outside face of the warmer. It's modern, yet elegant. My husband said he likes the Paloma Warmer much better than any of the other warmers we have! The warmer includes a 25 watt Halogen bulb, which gently warms and melts the Memory Melts that sit in the ceramic warming dish a top the warmer. What I love about this is that it's totally flameless... if I accidentally leave it on while I run to the post office, it's no big deal. If Balian accidentally bumps into the end table it sits on, I don't have to worry about an actual flame. And while some may think that because it's a warmer that it doesn't give off that beautiful glow we all love, that simply isn't so. There are strategically placed holes around the top of the face of the warmer, so that beautiful glow does shine through... and it's just enough to set the right mood for a cozy night at home.

 Eclipse Candle Co. Memory Melts...

The Memory Melts are really neat. First off, they are large melts, and I like that, because that means I don't have to keep adding more and more pieces of wax to my warmer every day or two. They easily break apart from one another. I have some melts from another company that are extremely hard to break off from the bar. The fragrance is very strong, but not overpowering. I could frangrance a room just by opening the package and putting a melt into the warmer without ever even turning the warmer on! The Memory Melt melted in less than three minutes, and when melted, the wax is nice and clear. I could see right through the wax, which meant I could see the Eclipse Candle Co. emblem, which is etched into the ceramic dish that sits on top of the warmer. I love the Memory Melts! These melts will last a long time! Martha chose to send me a pack of Memory Melts from Eclipse Candle Co.'s Holiday Collection. I received Jibbly's Hot Cider, which is a lovely blend of apple cider, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon bark and cloves. This combination of scents just screams Christmas! I have an open house coming up in a couple of weeks, and I cannot wait to have this scent wafting as my guests walk in the door! Eclipse Candle Co. has five different Memory Melts collections, each with their own delicious smelling features!

 Edward Body Melts...

I was also lucky enough to receive a brand new addition to the Eclipse Candle Co. product line. Eclipse Candle Co. just launched Body Melts! These melts are made to be used with the warmers, but they also contain nourishment for your skin! You can use these directly from the package, too! If you've ever had a pedicure at a nail salon and had the experience of getting your hands or feet dipped into the hot paraffin wax, it's made to work just like that. As you remove the dried wax, your skin is left feeling soft, silky and amazing! If you're not into the hot wax thing, just simply rub the solid wax block over your skin for the same effect. And here's my favorite thing about the Body Melts pack that Martha sent to me... she sent me the Edward scent. Bet you can't guess the inspiration behind this scent, which is a haunting blend of wild honey, subtle lilac and sparkling sun notes. It's totally getting me into the right mindset for the theatrical release of Breaking Dawn, Part I! There's even an Alice scent! I'm going to have to order the other Twilight Saga inspired  Memory Melts from Eclipse Candle Co... how could I not? They have one for every Cullen... even Renesme (and of course, they have one for all you Team Jacob fans out there, too).

All in all, I love my beautiful new Paloma Warmer and both of the scents I received. I can't wait to order and try some of the other wonderful scents from Eclipse Candle Co. like Seaside Siesta, Grandma's Kickin Eggnog, Chilly Vanilla, Citrus Basil and Lemon Pound Cake. Yum! I'll bet you could think of quite a few people on your Christmas list who would enjoy these scents and a brand new fragrance warmer from Eclipse Candle Co!
