I am a wreath girl. If my front door doesn't have a wreath hanging on it, something's wrong. I enjoy hanging different wreaths for the different seasons and holidays, and I sometimes even try my hand at making my own. I've been successful in creating a Halloween wreath and a snowflake wreath, and if I had the time and the money, I'd probably try to make even more.



When I was searching for unique party decor for Balian's birthday party, I came across banners, signs, and things like that- but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought to look for a birthday wreath. I just sort of stumbled upon an Etsy listing for what looked like just that- a birthday wreath. I decided to investigate, and headed to the Etsy shop where the wreath lived. I 'walked into' Hannah Creates on Etsy and my eyes lit up as I looked around. There were so many different things from home decor to hair clips and jewelry awaiting me in Hannah's shop. I couldn't wait to look at everything, but thought it best to stick to the mission at hand and try to find the wreath. I clicked on the home decor category and there they were... a few adorable birthday wreaths, waiting to be purchased. I keep calling them birthday wreaths, but really, they are balloon wreaths. That's right- wreaths made entirely of balloons (not blown up, of course!) in many different colors. Balloons would make anyone celebrating something special smile!

I just had to inquire about one of these wreaths for Balian's birthday party. I couldn't think of a cuter way for our friends and family to be greeted as they walked into the house! Hannah happily agreed for us to review one of her wreaths, and told me that we could have one of the wreaths from her shop, or I could tell her the party colors and she would make us a custom wreath. I loved all of the wreaths in her shop, but I am definitely a matching kind of gal, so I told her our party theme, some of the colors we were using, and she went to work on creating a jungle party balloon wreath!

I couldn't wait to see the wreath, and when it arrived, I was so tickled by it! It was just adorable! Hannah uses a straw wreath form and then combines tons of balloons and curling ribbon, attaches them to the wreath, adds a sturdier ribbon for hanging, and voila- you have a cute and fun wreath to use again and again for celebrations! My husband loved the wreath and thought it was one of the coolest things he'd ever seen! I had to agree with him- the wreath was and is awesome!

I figured the balloon wreath would really stir up conversation at the party, and I was right. Everyone though it was such a neat and clever idea! What a great addition to any celebration, especially ours! The colors couldn't have matched more perfectly, either!

When the party was over, I was still over the moon about the wreath and just didn't want to have to put it away until the next family birthday- it's too cute! The colors match everything in Balian's room, so I decided to hang it up in there, so we can enjoy it year round. It's such a cheerful addition to his jungle!

Balian loves this colorful wreath, and hopefully, he'll be kind enough to share it when we have family birthdays. This wreath is the perfect celebration aid! I know Hannah put a lot of work into creating this special wreath for Balian, and we couldn't be more appreciative of her willingness to work with us.
