I am a sucker for candles. I love pretty candles, I love yummy-scented candles, layered candles, triple wick candles, those candles that crackle like a fireplace, etc. I love candles, because they are a huge part of decorating homes and event spaces. With a simple candle, you can add soft, romantic lighting to any space- perfect for an evening alone, with friends, a nice dinner for two , or even an evening in the tub!
With lighting candles, however, come several safety concerns, especially when you have little ones or even pets in your home. I can honestly say that since Balian was born, we've lit very few candles in our house, and now that he's crawling and trying to walk, I'm pretty reluctant to light a candle at all. Sure, I could put it high up on a bookcase or something, but if it's not at my eye level, I may very well forget that it's there.

I was sent the Drip Wax Scented Candle with Timer by Everlast for review. When I opened up the package- a nice clear box, I was immediately hit with the yummy scent of vanilla. I love vanilla-scented candles! I was surprised by the texture of the candle- it was real wax, and there were wax drips running down the sides of the 3x4 candle. The battery was easy to insert, and then the candle was ready for use! I was so pleased by this candle. It looked and felt like a real, burning candle on my dining table, and I couldn't even tell that it wasn't really burning. The flicker looks just like a real flickering candle!

I also have one sitting outside on my porch table. I love that I can set the timer to the candle, and it'll turn on and off by itself! Now I have a beautiful candle-lit glow on my front porch in the evenings! All I need to do now is to by some flameless votive candles to go in the candelier sitting on my porch, as well! Oh, yes- LampLust has the flameless votives and tealights, too! They also have several flameless pillars and tapers to choose from!
Now I just need these tealights for my porch...

First of all, I suppose I could use this anywhere because it's flameless and safe! I think I would use it on an end table in my living room or up on top of my dining room hutch.

I'd love to use this candle on the porch. The last tenant in this apartment used real wax candles and upset the landlord quite a bit because now the wood on the porch looks awful, so it would be a nice way to have candles outside without all the mess!
