We're back from spending a wonderful week at the beach, and you know that I took a bunch of must have mommy products on vacation with me. That's why when I found out that I was going to have the opportunity to review Sand Gone, I was really excited.
Friend to The Mommy Blog, Tiffany Smith created Sand Gone to help beach-goers easily remove sand from their bodies without using water. Tiffany is a mom, who has spent a great deal of time at the beach with her family, and has had to clean off a lot of sand.
To me, the worst thing about going to the beach (other than having to leave it) is trying to get the sand off of your body without having to take a full-blown shower. Sand is scratchy, and though we don't mind it being stuck to our bodies while we're playing, swimming or sunning out on the beach, as soon as we head to the car, we want that sand gone! Go ahead and try to get all of the sand off of your feet just by using a towel ('cause you know how well that works!).
Sand Gone is definitely a must have if you're heading to the beach or the lake this summer. I was so happy to have it to try while on vacation. I usually try to stay pretty sand-free, but with a baby on the beach, that was virtually impossible this go-round. Each time we headed to the car, I was covered in sand, so what did I do? I pulled the convenient container of Sand Gone out of my beach bag, removed the top, and used the powder puff applicator to gently rub the Sand Gone powder over my sand-covered skin. I couldn't believe how well it worked! With just a few swipes, the sand really was gone... even the wet, stuck on sand that's usually impossible to brush off!

Sand Gone left my skin feeling smooth as silk, and has a lovely fragrance with just a hint of coconut. I felt like I was in the middle of a tropical paradise, rather than just the usual beach feeling I usually get! Sand Gone is all natural, and non-toxic, so I felt safe even trying it out on Balian's delicate baby skin. It worked like a charm, and his skin didn't have any adverse reactions! Sand Gone absolutely gets my mommy seal of approval!
