If you're anything like my husband, bedtime comes with a routine. Flip the pillow. Search for the cool side. Turn the fan up another notch. Somehow, he still wakes up hot and sweaty.

That's why I was excited when I had the chance to review the iSense FlexiCool Adjustable Pillow. I knew exactly who would be putting it to the test.

Founded in 2017, iSense focuses on personalized sleep products that help people get the rest they need. The FlexiCool Adjustable Pillow features shredded memory foam that can be added or removed to create your ideal height and firmness. It is also made with cooling materials and a soft, removable, washable cover.

The first thing I noticed was the foam itself. I unzipped the pillow zand reached my hand inside, and it was surprisingly cool to the touch. The memory foam was incredibly soft and had a texture unlike any pillow I've felt before. My husband's favorite feature was the adjustability. He removed some of the foam until the pillow felt just right for the way he sleeps, which made it much more comfortable than a traditional pillow.

As for the cooling, we wanted to give our honest experience. The pillow definitely felt cooler than a standard pillow, and the cover was soft and breathable. When I tested it out, I had a perfect nights sleep. I didn’t wake up to adjust or flip my pillow in the middle of the night. The cooling feature was perfect for me. Since my husband is exceptionally hot natured, it wasn't enough to completely replace the fan he sleeps with every night. Once the cover was on, the cooling effect wasn't quite as noticeable as it was when I touched the foam directly. However, combined with his fan, it helped him sleep more comfortably and wake up feeling less overheated. 

Overall, we were impressed with the quality and thoughtful design of the iSense FlexiCool Adjustable Pillow. The ability to customize the fill makes it feel much more personal than a typical pillow, and the premium materials give it a luxurious feel. If you're someone who struggles to find the right pillow or tends to sleep warm, I think it's a worthwhile investment.
