If there’s one thing moms know about summer, it’s this: the season may be packed with sunshine and memories, but it also comes with snack emergencies, scraped knees, mystery germs, and kids who somehow need something every five minutes.

A few of our favorite Summer Essentials!

As much as I love summer break, I’ve learned that survival mode kicks in fast if I’m not prepared. Between road trips, pool days, camp drop-offs, and backyard adventures, having a few reliable products on hand can make life feel a whole lot easier.

Today, I’m sharing a few of our favorite summer survival must-haves that have officially earned a permanent spot in our mom bag this season.

Xlear for allergies.

Keep Summer Sniffles in Check with Xlear Kids Nasal Spray

Summer allergies, dry air from travel, chlorine exposure, and all the germs from camps and playdates can really do a number on little noses. One thing I always keep nearby is the kids’ nasal spray from Xlear.

I love that it’s gentle and easy to use for kids, especially during those stuffy nose moments that seem to pop up at the worst times. Whether we’ve spent the day outdoors, traveled in the car for hours, or dealt with seasonal allergies, this has become one of those “grab it before bedtime” essentials in our house. My husband has been using this daily and has commented on what a big difference it's made for him.

Mom tip: Keep one in the bathroom and another in your travel bag. Future-you will be thankful.

The cutest way to deal with summer boo-boos.

Be Ready for Summer Oopsies with the Daniel Tiger First Aid Mini Kit

Summer and minor injuries go hand in hand. Scraped knees, bug bites, playground tumbles, splinters—you name it.

That’s why I’m obsessed with the adorable Daniel Tiger First Aid Mini Kit from Keep Going. Not only is it compact enough to toss into a tote bag or glove compartment, but it’s also kid-friendly and comforting for little ones who may be upset after an accident.

Honestly, anything with Daniel Tiger attached to it already earns bonus parenting points in my book.

This little kit is perfect for:

  • Park days
  • Road trips
  • Summer camp bags
  • Beach vacations
  • Poolside essentials

Because nothing says “mom survival” like being the parent who actually packed bandages before the meltdown starts.

My kids go bananas for Hapinest Snacks!

Snack Smarter with Hapinest Smoothie Crisps

Can we talk about how kids are somehow hungrier during summer break than any other time of year?

I swear mine rotate through the kitchen every 20 minutes asking for snacks.

One of our newest favorite finds has been the smoothie crisps from Hapinest. They’re easy to pack, mess-free, and perfect for busy summer days when we’re constantly on the go.

I especially love having snacks like these ready for:

  • Pool bags
  • Day trips
  • Movie afternoons
  • Camp lunches
  • “I’m starving” emergencies in the car

Anything that helps me avoid fast food stops and keeps everyone happy between meals is a win.

Mom Survival Mode Activated

Summer is beautiful, chaotic, exhausting, magical, loud, sticky, and unforgettable—all at the same time.

I’ve learned that the little things really do help. A stocked first aid kit, better-for-you snacks, and products that help keep kids feeling their best can make summer feel a lot less stressful for moms.

Because while the kids are making memories, moms are usually the ones making everything happen behind the scenes.

And if we’re being real, anything that makes summer survival easier deserves a spot in the cart.
