I do not remember coffee in our house often during my school aged years. My grandparents loved coffee but my mom preferred her hot tea. It wasn't until college and beyond that I was introduced to coffee. Over the years, I've learned about coffee types, coffee making methods, and even grinds of coffee.

 If your mom loves making her own coffee drinks at home (no matter whether it's cold brew, lattes, or just regular drip), and if your mom experiments with different types of coffee making (drip, pour over, espresso), then you should gift her the AMZChef Coffee Bean Grinder.

Sure, buying pre-ground coffee may feel easier; but often the production, shipping, and shelf lives of that bag means the inside has already lost it's flavor before it even is put into your filter. Add in issues of contimination, and your coffee suddenly is less robust. 

I have been grinding my coffee for a while using my forever-old Mr. Coffee grinder; and as magical as that machine is, it's still a pain to get the coffee from under the blade into the filter without making a mess. It's also super loud and could potentially wake up the entire household! 

The holder attachment for the portafilter is easy to install and remove.

When I heard about the AMZChef grinder, I immediately knew it would need to be in my household. I can daily grind my coffee with no issues now!

This machine is automated, so with the touch of a LED button, your grinds enters into whatever vestibule you desire. It's easy to put together, has an amazing visible digital display, and is very quiet.

• The Funnel: 3 settings (french press, drip- pour over, and espresso) can be selected for your drink's needs. (In case you didn't know, the size of a coffee grind affects how the water flows through, which then affects the taste that exhales from a particular bean) 

• A conical burr grinder offers 48 selections for sizing, cup needs, and time.

• The included bean hopper means that you can pregrind coffee for those busy mornings or travel adventures.The best part about this cannister is that the grinds could go directly into it for storage; so no worries about spillage during a transfer! The hopper could also be used as a beans storage container if more than 1 kind is used regularly. 

• The touch panel is easy to utilize.. and once you find your favorite grind, you don't have to enter it in every time. 

• The grinder is made to work with a 51mm or 58 mm portafilter. That's the contraption an espresso machine uses to create wonderful cafe lattes. Attach the portafilter holder to the grinder's base (just by snapping- no screws needed), insert the portafilter, and set your grind & size. My portafilter can hold the grounds amount needed for 2 cups of espresso. Tamper, stick it into your already prepped espresso machine, and away you go!
