| Photo by Tim Gouw on Unsplash In a few moments, I'm dashing off to our fellowship hall where our ladies circle gathers monthly for fellowship and service. Today, they are helping me fill easter eggs in prep for our April egg hunt. We have a month before our egg hunt, but I take the help when it's offered! It might seem early, but all that easter stuff is already selling out, quickly making its way for the latest marketing ploys as we head into warmer weather. This morning, I stopped at the Dollar Store for a collection of goodies to stuff our egg; randing from ring pops to toys. It made me wonder: what goes in eggs & baskets these days? What do your kiddos love? Do you even still do family egg hunts or just attend community/ church ones? How far in advance do you actually get ready for Easter? What gets left out too? What do you KNOW every child in your family hates? I still get homemade peanut butter eggs from my mom's church and probably snack on way too many Reese's throughout the egg stuffing portion of the holiday. I highly dislike Peeps (gross) and anything with a cremy center. |
But seriously, I did need stuff for our church easter eggs, so sometimes its fun to look ati t!
