While my limited time during the holiday season means minimal creations, I often gravitate towards anything that might resemble a foodie gift. The Royal Cinnamon Hot Chocolate isn't too "in your face" with the cinnamon, making it perfect for drinks, such as mocha's, too! Or, just make a good cup of hot chocolate to go along with movie nights over the holiday season.

It's made with cane sugar, sea salt, Royal Cinnamon, and Nyanza Vanilla. This hot chocolate is without the artifical flavors and while it has some sugar, there is minimal so that the consumer can sweeten to their choice.

In fact, I tried it in my coffee this morning. It gave my cup of joe a lovely sweet taste that made this Monday go great! The cinnamon adds an extra bit of flavor, but isn't overpowering. I think this would definitely make a great mocha and will have to try it over the holiday season. I don't use my espresso machine daily, but this would be a great addition.

I'm also excited to try this out in a batch of cookies or brownies. I love a good brownie and I think the depth of this flavor would bring out all the chocolately goodness.

One of my favorites is quality, good vanilla. This particular vanilla is made with rum and bourbon, giving it a vibrant decadent taste that will liven up any item.

I love putting vanilla in with chocolate (I just made peanut butter trees), in my latte's, and even in pancakes! Vanilla can be used in combination with other syrups, in cocktails, and in many baked goods. A good vanilla brings out the other notes in baked goods and drinks, balacing and enhancing. This particular one is pure, rather than the many imitations found in our groceries, and hails from Rwanda.

The chocolate bar is interesting, as sweet heat chili isn't usually part of the palate that I prefer, but if you aren't brave enough to eat it whole, then you can break it down and add it to your meat's marinade or sauce.

Dark Roasted Carob powder has a carmel flavor to it, perfect for those baked goods needing that deep flavor. Made from wild carob trees along Turkey's Mediterrean Coast, this fine powder is also sweet and chocolately. It can be added to drinks, cocktails, baked goods, and more! Normally carob isn't my favorite flavor, but it does boost some good antioxidants and nutrition that regular chocolate doesn't have (without the caffeine too!).
