November slowly fades and there’s a special kind of stillness that settles in—almost like the world is taking a deep breath before the holidays arrive. The last golden leaves drift to the ground, daylight slips away a little earlier, and the evenings feel made for warm blankets, soft lights, and quiet reflection. I swear I can smell the snow in the air.
This is the time of year when our hearts begin to shift. We move from gratitude to togetherness… from autumn’s calm to winter’s gentle magic. For the first time in ten years, I will have both kids home for Christmas. My mama heart is so happy. I think the best part is that this is going be a surprise for my entire family.
Here’s to entering December with full hearts, gentle expectations, and the reminder that magic is often found in the simplest places.
