Fuel Up This Week With Cooper Street Snacks

Thanks to Cooper Street Snacks for providing products in exchange for a review. All thoughts are my own.

As a child, I was a picky eater. I dislike many foods; including snacks, meats, and veggies. Fruit, except grapes, was mostly okay devouring. I still dislike grapes to this day, but I digress.
Any rate, as an adult my taste buds have expanded, but I still find myself struggling for breakfast and lunch snacks.

As someone who heads to an office almost every day, it can get expensive to eat out, so I do try to pack my lunch or take snacks when I don't have an abundance of offsite meetings.

Cooper Street Snacks makes it easy to have tasty, nutritious snacks waiting at my desk or lunchbox! If you are a mom on the go, a professional, or have adventurous children, then Cooper Street has a snack for you! These are also great for those busy weekends filled with fall sports, festivals, and school activities.

Flavors include blueberry, cherry, banana, and cranberry

Cooper Street Granola Bakes:

In my opinion, granola bars can be hit or miss. Some are obviously filled with processed ingredients and taste like cardboard. Others are filled with nutritious ingredients but are not pleasing to the palate. Cooper Street Granola bakes are soft, chewy, and do taste well!

As with any product, be sure to check out the ingredients in it, the sugars, and the fibers and all. For me, these bakes are well-made, filled with quality items, and are a great way to fill my tummy when I don't want a lot to eat.

Small enough to eat in the car pickup line, but large enough to tide you over. Even great to include wiht your full meal!
Ways I use the Granola Bakes:

  • When I wake up hungry, but the dog wants to be walked right away.
  • When back-to- back meetings run late with no time in between for proper meals.
  • When the late afternoon munchies hit.
  • When the late evening rumblings hit.
It is not a meal replacement, but at 110 calories, bars are loaded with fruits like blueberry, cranberry, and cherries along with grains like quinoa, flax seed, and buckwheat. These babies are soft, which is great for those of us with texture aversions, and doesn't seem to quite hurt my teeth like harder bars do!

These Granola bakes are peanut free, soy free, dairy free, tree nut free, and contain low sodium.

Twice Baked Cookies

Cookies are my weakness. There, I admit it. If a package of cookies is around, it doesn't last long. Most cookies are filled with processed ingredients that entice us, but aren't wonderful for us. I mean-one could say that NO cookies are perfect for us, but as a treat and snack, Cooper Street twice baked cookies are definitely better than others.

As these are twice-baked, they are definitely crispy; not chewy/soft like their granola bake counterparts. But what I like about these cookies is that they are combined with some great fruits and flavors to blow our taste buds up.

Twice baked cookie flavors include:
  • Blueberry Lemon,
  • Orange Cranberry,
  • Brownie Chocolate Crunch,
  • Cherry White Chip
I very seldom like anything cherry, except for lollipops and cough medicine, but I absolutely love the combination of flavors with the white chocolate chips. The Blueberry Lemon isn't far behind!

Now, if you know me, you can guess what my favorite cookie might be out of this collection. Hint- it's the opposite of vanilla!

Why do I like these cookies so much?

With fewer sugars and carbs than most other brands, these cookies don't cause me to crash and burn as easily. I am not diabetic and generally don't have problems with blood sugar, but with certain brands out there, I definitely can tell a difference when I eat them.

Cooper Street Cookies are also delicious! I wouldn't have thought that I'd like cookies with these types of flavors. When I've been at parties with store bought cookies of the same flavors, I've definitely disliked them.

I also like the twice-baked method, as it generally means cookies are shelf stable for longer. Yet, Cooper Street cookies don't have artificial flavors or products in them. Only the good stuff, which is better for us, in the long run!

Cookies are also free of nuts, peanuts, dairy, soy, and are generally lower sodium and lower carb than the average cookie out there.

For a quick easy snack to throw in your lunch bag, or perhaps share with a friend, then look no further than Cooper Street Snacks! These are great for fall play dates, long walks through the woods, study aids, and even calming your nerves after Halloween Fright! You could even have a few of the granola bakes in the car for those last minute family getaways and spontaneous fall trips to festivals or parks!

Of course, you might be greedy and keep that bag all to yourself, but try to avoid eating it in one sitting!

Guilt-free, tasty, snacks that might tummies happy is a great way to head into the fall.. and to fuel those busy school or work days even further!
