Most Friday mornings are spent relatively relaxing. Acquiring a senior dog that loves to sleep means that I can sleep in too. Leisurely walks, lingering coffee breakfasts, and catching up on housework are our typical mornings. 

Yet, there are occasions where Chachi and I bravely face the world to run errands, meet friends, or head to the vet's office. 

Whenever we head out, not only do I have to make sure to grab all my stuff, but also his too! I've been caught without extra poop bags, without treats, and yes, even without water.. and it's no fun! 

This fall, I'm glad that I have a Cocoa & Onyx treat bag to make sure my life is semi-put together. With room for all my essentials (wallet, phone, meds, personal needs & more), plus room for waste bags and treats, this treat bag is essential for any dog mom.

The Chloe Caramel Treat Bag, as pictured, is a beautiful caramel brown with brown, white, and green center stripes. Made of high quality leather and durable canvas, the outer layer closes via snap. I've had to learn to make sure that the snap does close so that all my contents don't explode out, especially on my office floor!

At 6 X 7.5 X 2.5, its dimensions are large enough for everything you need, if you are a minimalist like me. If you carry the world with you, it's probably not your bag. 

For a wallet, phone, lip gloss, girly personal items, a pill case, pens, tissues, eye drops, and hand sanitizer, this fits my stuff plus Chachi's treats and poop bags! 

Technically, the bag size also meets our local Live Nation venue's bag restrictions, but I haven't tested that theory out yet. I have a tendency to go bagless at those events anyway!

The 38"- 53" strap is adjustable, making it easy to find that sweet spot as a cross-body. The bag's outside embossed logo and brass hardware make this bag a perfect accessory for any outing. 

Whether it's a stroll on the riverfront, an outdoor patio date night with your pup, or just a run to your favorite treat store, this bag will definitely be a cute accessory but functional as well! Vet Visit, even though treats and waste bags are available, are made easier too, especially when your dog HAS to walk around the entire property before returning home! 

Inside, a zippered wallet can hold your necessary cards, cash, etc.. or if you have a slim wallet, slip it into one of the canvas compartments. 

Two canvas compartments sandwich the zippered wallet, plus an additional lining for your dog's favorite treats. 

The inside lining is 100% waterproof coasted leather, plus food safe and BPA free polyester for the treat area. 

Cleaning the inside lining is very easy too! Just wipe with a damp cloth and avoid using chemicals. 

Protecting the leather canvas from dirt uses the same method, but care for leather canvas requires use of leather cream or leather conditioner. 

Just note it can change the color of the patina, so be leery about how much and how often it's used.

Don't forget to check your hidden compartment to make sure you have enough bags before leaving the house! This area is "hidden" because it will jut up against your body, thus not being visible to the normal eye. 

I've taken this to work, church, meetings, lunches, and outings and so far no one has commented on the bags, unless I bring it up first!

I actually cracked up when Chachi first ate the treats. He is always hesitant at something hard, but he grabbed it from me, and while he bit into it, he jumped at the cracking sound it made! No matter what kind of treats you use, your dog will surely sniff them out and know that they are in your bag regardless of you driving or walking, so careful about how close you leave your bag to your pup!
