Wordless Wednesday: Garden Greetings

Happy Wednesday! July, August, and even September can be tough on plants in the South. My cucumbers are barely hanging on. I have a few little eggplants, zucchini is dwindling, and I have tons of tomatoes... more than I know what to do with, really.

The flowers don't look great. We've had so little rain over several weeks. My water bill is going to be astronomical. It's kind of defeating to spend so much time and money on just a few short weeks of good-looking gardens, but that's where we are.

Here are a few photos of what's currently blooming in my garden.

While some of the plants in my garden are crispy, I am hoping that we'll get some decent rain to revive them. I'm definitely looking forward to cooler temperatures, but I know they're a long way off.

Keep hanging in there!
