Love tacos? Love mac-n-cheese? Ever wanted them together 🙋🏻♀️
Here is a quick (less than 30 minutes) and easy (one pot, one pan) recipe that has quickly become a family favorite! I even just made this on a family beach trip and my in-laws loved it!
Taco Mac Skillet
Ingredients:
1lb of ground meat
1 pack of Taco seasoning
1/3 cup of beef broth
1 box of elbow macaroni
1 can of salsa (choose your own heat and chunky preference)
2 cups of shredded cheese
Sour Cream
Taco Sauce
Directions:
1. Brown 1lb of ground meat in a skillet.
2. Add in taco seasoning, a can of salsa, and about 1/3 cup of beef broth
3. Boil 1 box of elbow macaroni for 7 minutes.
4. Drain the macaroni noodles and add them to the skillet with the meat and salsa mixture.
5. Stir together and add in 2 cups of cheese, if too dry add in more beef broth. Stir until cheese is melted and noodles are coated.
Enjoy with sour cream, taco sauce, and your favorite taco toppings.
