Lets take a hike. My sister has been asking me for weeks to go hiking with her. We have been a few times to different trails in our area and it's been a lot of fun. We get our exercise on while spending quality time together. My parent always told us we were each other's first best friends and it couldn't be more true.
This is a local park and the trail is so beautiful. We can listen to the birds chirp, frogs cloak, and the subtle breeze on the water. There is an area set up for eating lunch or just to sit and look out on the water. These photos remind me of the book Oh the places you'll go.
My family has experienced some losses in the last two years and I had read and watched some videos on a wind phone. A wind phone is a disconnected telephone booth, often located in a secluded natural setting, where people can have one-way conversations with deceased loved ones.
Hiking doesn't mean going too far away. Both of these places are right in our backyard. Make being told to take a hike a good thing.
