Happy Monday! As I sat down to write this blog, I found myself instinctively opening Google to search for “motivation inspiration.” But as I began to type, I paused and asked myself: why am I turning to the internet for my own motivation? In today’s fast-paced world, it’s all too easy to seek quick answers at the click of a button—or even just a voice command. We live in an era of instant gratification, where questions are answered in mere seconds, leaving little room for contemplation.
So, what motivates me today? It’s the beauty of wonder! It’s about embracing unanswered questions and recognizing that it’s okay not to have all the answers. Using logic and a sprinkle of imagination can lead to fascinating explorations. For instance, how are oil rigs constructed in the ocean? How deep does a groundhog dig? What does a shark's skin feel like? These may seem like silly questions, but they remind us that curiosity is a vital part of our experience.
Instead of rushing to find answers, let’s take a moment to sit with our questions. Let’s crack open a book and delve deeper into our curiosities. This week, I encourage you to give Google a break and challenge your mind instead. Let’s savor the beauty of wondering together this Monday.
