Favorite Childhood Movies

This weekend,  the 1953 version of Peter Pan is showing at our community theatre. Margaret Kerry, the singer/actor inspiration behind Tinker Bell will be attending. Apparently she lives in Wilmington!

Thus a flashback to my favorite childhood films is in store.. I'll be honest, I didn't really like Peter Pan as a child. Maybe it was Pan's attitude, the lack of attention on the Darling kids in general, or even Wendy' bossyness..who knows. As an adult, floating away on a pirate ship for adventure,  escaping reality, is a dream and wish my heart sometimes makes!

So here they are in no order..with mostly no reason!

1. Aladdin: Aladdin antics amused me, but he managed to make a way for himself!

2. Homeward Bound: There was nothing better than when Shadow came into view across that hill..

3. The Lion King- who will hear me roar?

4. Home Alone- Kevin's ingenuity was something we all wished we had!

5. Ducktales: one of the first movies I remember seeing on screen at the theater before regal took over the world!

What are your favorite childhood movies?
