Have you ever stopped and asked yourself 'What's my decorating style?' I think about it a lot. I love home decorating. It's a really fun hobby for me... an expensive one at that! I just can't help myself. I love looking into a room and envisioning what it could look like if I put my own spin on it.

My style is very mixed. It's a little bit modern farmhouse, glam, traditional, French country, classic, and eclectic. My kids don't seem to appreciate it, so they have their own style vibes going on in their bedrooms, the playroom, and in their shared bathroom. If money was no object, I would deck my home out in gorgeous classic furnishings, drapery, etc. It never goes out of style, and is so warm and inviting. Unfortunately, my budget doesn't allow for that, so I like to play 'the look for less' and find alternatives in stores like Kirklands, Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, and yes- even Amazon.

My style isn't for everyone, and I love peeking into other people's homes to see how their stories unfold through their decor. It really says a lot about a person.
